Handys für Kinder riskant

Sensation, Österreich: Handywarnung in allen Medien

The hard truth is that the atomic bombings were unnecessary. A million lives were not saved. Troops in Iraq Bring Resistant Bacteria Home

American troops wounded in Iraq and brought back to military hospitals in the United States have unexpectedly high rates of infection with a drug-resistant type of bacteria, doctors are finding. About 240 cases have been treated at Army hospitals since 2003, Colonel Petruccelli said. Hospitals like Walter Reed now see 6 to 12 infected soldiers a month; before 2003 they had no more than one a month.

As Bush War gets personal, nation must find its outrage

ONE OF the great mysteries of the Bush War in Iraq has been the incredible acquiescence of the American people to the unfolding tragedy. There is a seemingly passive acceptance of the conflict-without-end. Some have called the unquestioning silent assent obscene.

A STORY THAT the U.S. government hoped would never see the light of day finally has been published, 60 years after it was spiked by military censors. The discovery of reporter George Weller's firsthand account of conditions in post-nuclear Nagasaki sheds light on one of the great journalistic betrayals of the last century: the cover-up of the effects of the atomic bombing on Japan.

Bush's dirty war

By Sidney Blumenthal

Bush's dirty war is having a counterproductive effect, just as dirty wars did in Vietnam, Algeria and Argentina. For every militant abused or killed, a community of like-minded militants is inspired. Hatred, resentment and vengeance are the natural outcomes. There has never been a victory through a dirty war over these forces.

PeTA, Milk & Your Children

I have been active in what I feel is a very dangerous campaign directed towards you and your children by PeTA. I have created a Care2 album of all very real PeTA campaigns from PeTAs own site, I call the album PeTAphiles.

I ask you to view this album and if you need further information or wish the PDF files and text or if you wish to see pimples burst on the Pimply Patti animation I have provided the links to PeTA approved campaigns that are going on right now.

I feel these programs are destructive to your child especially when they are targeted at children already very self image aware. PeTA uses Milk as the excuse for everything from gas to Type 1 diabetes and uses images of children to scare children. This type of trauma can effect a child in ways PeTA chooses to ignore, like the reasons given by Psychologists and school officials.

PeTA has taken a 29 million dollar a year budget gifted to save animals not kill them nor to scare our children. These tactics are wrong and require intervention for PeTA to continue to get a tax exemption as well as review of there "adoption" and euthanasia program.

Where has all the water gone?

There has been much talk in alternative news about electromagnetic weapons and weather alteration devices becoming a reality or indeed, are already a reality.

http://unslaver.com/forum/index.php/topic,286.0.html

The theory seems too science fiction like for most people who have cursed any number of deity through the ages over the rains or lack thereof.

Still, there's mounting evidence that 'something' about the subject is true. Otherwise there's going to be a lot of disappointed conspiracy theorists. The unproven truth is that the first common mankind will know is when he finds himself held hostage by a rogue state that has against all odds learned to literally control the weather and - we'll do as we're told.

It's pretty scary. You can either dehydrate or drown, freeze or snap bake. Your crops will die of either too much or too little water. From one week to the next you might have to look out your front door to find out which shoes to wear!

The civilian outcome is pretty darned frightening - when those dams run to critical and no river is running for hundreds of miles... or flooding unstoppably. The military application is very neat when it is a precision event - mud will eventually slow down even the most determined of tracked war machines and; fog slows down aircraft substantially. A snow storm will stop unprepared soldiers fairly rapidly as well.

Certainly, it'd be more useful as a shield against attack rather than a weapon of attack. You'd think so, anyhow.

Wirklich keine Alternative zum Standort?

HLV 123/AT

6-08-2005

Leserbrief im HANAUER ANZEIGER 6.08.2005

Zum Artikel „Keine Alternative zum Standort“ über den Mobilfunksender in Rodenbach (HA vom 26. Juli):

HLV 123/AT

6-08-2005

MP joins fight to stop police masts

LEWIS HANNAM
Norwich Evening News

05 August 2005 12:02

Campaigners have called for Norfolk Police to axe its new multi-million pound mobile handset system because of health fears.

Norwich North MP Ian Gibson wants the new communications network, called Tetra, to be stopped until its effects on the brain are fully known.

Families in North Walsham, where the system has been installed on top of the police station, back Dr Gibson's move.

The private company behind the Tetra masts, mobile phone giant O2 Airwave, says health fears are unfounded and ambulances will also soon be using the system.

Dr Gibson said: "There is still widespread concern about the safety of Tetra masts, particularly the effects on the health of members of the police force and the public in the vicinity of masts.

"The issue needs to be fully considered and reviewed — there is a feeling that this system has been rushed through.

"The Government should fund independent research into areas where cancer clusters have arisen around masts, with the Office of National Statistics providing information on actual cases of cancer and motor neurone disease."

The primary safety concern related to Tetra masts is that they use a form of microwave radiation at a frequency similar to electrical activity in the brain.

Fears have been raised they have caused a range of health problems, from minor headaches to cancer.

A family in North Walsham has been spearheading a campaign to get the Tetra mast there taken down.

Matthew Pennington, founder member of the Campaign Against Tetra Siting, is planning to go to the High Court to get the mast at North Walsham police station taken down.

Mr Pennington, 42, who lives with his wife Rachel Kirk and three-year-old son Henry, is not confident about getting the police network stopped.

He said: "I fear we are on a hiding to nothing at the moment. My big concern is that no masts are being refused anywhere else in the country."

Last year families near the police station mast claimed it was making people feel sick.

About six police officers also fell ill voicing fears of a link between their illness with the mast.

Susan Moore, a spokeswoman for O2 Airwave, said: "Health and safety is at the heart of everything that we do because of the nature of the services.

"There has never been any concrete evidence to suggest there are any health risks related to the masts."

She said the firm had just won the contract to provide the same service as it does for the police to ambulance trusts, by 2008.

The Tetra network is a Home Office initiative costing about £3 billion, it started in 2001 and its rollout is now complete across the country, Norfolk's network was finalised in May.

It involves 3,370 base stations being set up nationwide; all of which must be fully operational by the end of 2005.

Police have praised the Tetra system for being clear and above criminal detection.

Have you suffered poor health because of a mast? Telephone Evening News reporter Lewis Hannam on (01603) 772428 or e-mail lewis.hannam@archant.co.uk

--------

Perhaps now is the time to lobby your local MP to add to the call in Norfolk? Remember, we don't have to have Airwave TETRA.

Tetrapol is available which is cheaper and needs less masts for coverage. Has anyone heard of any ill-health around Tetrapol? Perhaps we need to discuss this. Again, your MP is the route to ask for a change to Tetrapol.
