A provocative collection of front matter of reports from the US offensive biological weapons program of the 1960s has been placed online by The Memory Hole. The materials were obtained under the Freedom of Information Act several years ago; but have only been made available to the public now.

The papers include the title pages and tables of contents of many 1960s US Air Force reports on topics including the design of biological (and chemical) spray tanks and bombs. The front matter refers to a wide variety of activities that, to the Sunshine Project's knowledge, have never been publicly discussed before, such as "Operation Strange Man", mid-1960s binary biological weapons efforts, and late 1960s work on incapacitating biochemical weapons ... to name a few.

Swisscom wird mit einer Busse von 1 Milliarde (=1000 Millionen) Franken bestraft, weil der Umsatz beim Handytelefonieren um 5% zurückgegangen ist.

Laut Meldung des Nachrichtenmagazins „10 vor 10“ von TV-DRS1 vom 4.5.05 will die Eidg. Wettbewerbskommission (WEKO) die Swisscom, welche 60% des Mobilkommunikationsmarktes in der Schweiz beherrscht, mit einer Busse in dieser noch nie dagewesenen Höhe belegen, weil infolge zu hoher Handy-Tarife der Umsatz im Handytelefonieren um 5% zurückgegangen ist. Swisscom habe ihre Monopolstellung auf dem Schweizer Handy-Markt missbraucht, meint die WEKO. Swisscom hat wohl oder übel bereits gekatzbuckelt und mit massiven Verbilligungen der Handy-Tarife um ca. 30% reagiert.

Das gibt natürlich allen Gerüchten und Spekulationen um die Verschwörungstheorie, in welche die Mobilfunkindustrie verwickelt sein soll, erneut heftigen Auftrieb.

Szenario A)

Der Bund(esrat), als Hauptaktionär der Swisscom, will mit dieser Busse den Ertragsverlust auf seinem Aktienpaket wieder wettmachen.

Szenario B)

Der Bundesrat ist unglücklich darüber, dass die Schweizer/Innen gemerkt haben, dass Handytelefonieren die kognitiven Fähigkeiten, wie etwa das Denken oder die Lernfähigkeit stark einschränkt und muss da mit Billigst-Handytarifen unbedingt gegensteuern. Denn ein Volk, das denkt, ist der Schrecken aller Machtpolitiker.

Szenario C)

Die Mächtigen im Hintergrund sind unglücklich, dass sie erst rund 70% der Bevölkerung über die Handynetze überwachen und bespitzeln können. Sowohl in der Abhörtechnik und in der Aufzeichnung von Aufenthaltsorten und der Reisewege klaffen zu große Lücken.


Szenario D)

Dahinter steckt die chemische Industrie, als größter Schweizer Wirtschaftszweig. Ein Rückgang um 5% der Handystrahlung bedeutet automatisch ein eben solcher Rückgang im Verkauf von Schlafmitteln, Schmerzmitteln, Rheumamitteln, Psychopharmaka (Ritalin) usw. Dieses Geschäft floriert ja derzeit noch wie nie zuvor.

Szenario E)
Dahinter stecken die Automatisierer, die den gesamten Zahlungsverkehr in Zukunft über das Handy abwickeln möchten. Das heißt, das Handy soll zugleich Kreditkarte, Bahnbillett, Parkgebührenzahler oder Eintrittskarte werden. Das geht natürlich nicht, wenn das Handytelefonieren plötzlich ab- statt zunimmt.

Szenario F)

Dahinter stecken die Anfang der 90er Jahre von 41 Staaten unterzeichneten zwischenstaatlichen Abkommen und die darin festgelegten Termine, bis spätestens Ende 2010 das Festnetztelefonieren abzuschaffen.

Es können natürlich auch mehrere Szenarien gleichzeitig zutreffen.

Und das BAG mischt kräftig mit

Ebenso heftig, offensichtlich um diesen Rückgang aufzufangen, hat auf Befehl von oben unser Bundesamt für Gesundheit reagiert. Statt, wie die Gesundheitsämter anderer Länder, Warnungen vor dem exzessiven Handygebrauch herauszugeben, entwickelt sich das BAG hierzulande langsam aber sicher zu einem erstklassigen Mobilfunkpropaganda-Unternehmen.

Im sogenannten Wissenschaftscafé der Universität Bern vom 2.Mai 05, wo neben Dr. Gregor Dürrenberger von der von Sunrise (Nr. 3 der Schweizer Mobilfunkanbieter) finanzierten Forschungsstiftung Mobilkommunikation der ETH Zürich und Claude Georges von der Swisscom auch Frau Mirjana Moser, Teilchenphysikerin aus dem Bundesamt für Gesundheit (BAG) auftrat, kam dies unmissverständlich zum Vorschein. Die beiden Mobilfunkvertreter Dürrenberger und Georges konnten sich getrost zurücklehnen und erfreut den Worten von Frau Moser lauschen, die ganz im Sinn der Mobilfunkindustrie votierte und debattierte.

Fazit von Frau Moser: Es gibt überhaupt keine Beweise für die Schädlichkeit von Mobilfunkstrahlung. Es gibt lediglich Veränderungen in den Hirnströmen, dies ist jedoch nicht gesundheitsschädigend. Wir sind ja von Frau Moser schon einiges gewohnt. Dennoch gelingt ihr immer wieder, sich mit ihren Aussagen selbst zu übertreffen und die Öffentlichkeit damit zu überraschen. Eines muss man dem BAG auf Grund der im Wissenschaftscafé gemachten Äußerungen jedoch attestieren: Man hat dort den Wissensrückstand von 30 Jahren jetzt auf etwa 10 Jahre reduziert. Ist doch schon was! Oder? Etwa so um 2015 herum dürften dort vielleicht auch die Begriffe Ecolog, Reflex, Naila, Netanya, Bamberg usw. bekannt geworden sein. Ist doch echt tröstlich. Oder nicht?

Kurz und gut, den Spekulationen sind Tür und Tor geöffnet. Der Bundesrat hüllt sich, wie immer in solchen Fällen, in vornehmes Schweigen. „Aussitzen“ nennen das unsere nördlichen Nachbarn.

Übrigens: Aussitzen könnten die Herren das auch im Gefängnis.

Der Jubel ist grenzenlos. Die Medien haben uns hier in der Schweiz den ganzen Dienstag, 3. Mai 2005, über mit dieser Meldung traktiert: „Swisscom senkt die Mobilfunkpreise“: Neben der Lancierung eines neuen Abonnements werden auch die Preise für Anrufe aufs Handy gesenkt. Und weiter, laut SF DRS: „Im vergangenen Jahr 2004 ist die monatliche Gesprächsdauer eines Abo-Kunden um 7,2 Minuten auf 153,4 Minuten gesunken. Dies ist ein Minus von 4,7 %. Und auch vom Festnetz werde immer weniger lang auf Handys angerufen (-3 % im Jahr 2004).“ Offenbar sind die Leute ein bisschen gescheiter geworden. Aber dieser Fortschritt muss gleich wieder mit Füssen getreten werden.

Zuerst schmeißt man den Menschen die Handys förmlich gratis nach (bald einmal wird man noch draufzahlen, wenn jemand eines wünscht), um sie zum Telefon-Gequassel anzuregen, um sie abzuzocken, und wenn dann das auch nicht mehr hinreichend funktioniert, dann muss der grassierenden Telefonitis über eine Preissenkung nachgeholfen werden. Für 50 Rappen (und eine monatliche Grundgebühr von 25 CHF) kann man nun stundenlang palavern, eine grauenhafte Vorstellung für alle Leid tragenden Angerufenen, wenn man weiß, was für ein grausamer Quatsch – bei älteren Semestern hauptsächlich Krankheitsgeschichten, die Brechreize auslösen – da in aller Ausführlichkeit verbreitet wird. Man kommt sich oft wie ein Pfahl vor, an dem Hunde ihre Notdurft zu verrichten pflegen. Wobei die Hunde die Sache wenigstens in kurzer Zeit hinter sich bringen.

Wieso denn muss die Swisscom dafür sorgen, dass vom Festnetz aus Mobilfunknetz umgestellt wird? Sie kann doch wohl kein Interesse daran haben, dass die Hirnschädigungen der Menschen noch mehr zunehmen (siehe Blog vom 14. April 2005: „Machen Handys wirklich schwachsinnig? Es scheint so“). http://www.textatelier.com/index.php?id=996&blognr=547&PHPSESSID=3e26beb6f0fffb52515608272be2fb45 Bei den zunehmenden Erkenntnissen über die Schädigungen durch die elektromagnetische Strahlung (Elektrosmog), die zunehmend deutlicher zutage treten, müsste, wenn schon, das Festnetztelefonieren gefördert werden.

Doch das Gegenteil ist der Fall. Und der Jubel ist ebenso wie die Gehirnschäden nicht zu bremsen – vielleicht steht beides in einem gewissen Zusammenhang: Der Swisscom-Schritt sei „längst überfällig“ gewesen, urteilte der kommerzielle Internet-Vergleichsdienst Comparis. Es sei denkbar, dass Festnetz-Kunden in Kürze für weniger als 30 Rappen pro Minute ins Mobilfunknetz telefonieren könnten, wird da gefrohlockt, als ob das ein vernünftiges Lebensziel sein könne. Zurzeit kostet ein solcher Anruf bei Swisscom und Sunrise 55 Rappen im Normaltarif und 45 Rappen im Niedertarif pro Minute. Auch die nationale Wettbewerbskommission Weko ist seit langem mit der Förderung der Telefonkrankheiten beschäftigt. Und sogar der Schweizer Preisüberwacher Rudolf Strahm ortete „Zeichen einer positiven Entwicklung“. Es sind rein rappenspalterische Überlegungen anzutreffen. Man könnte ja schließlich auch einmal über die Antenne hinausdenken.

Irgendeinen kritischen Ton habe ich aus dem Informations-Mainstream bisher nicht herausfischen können. Kein Medium weist auf die verwedelten Gesundheitsgefahren durch die Mobiltelefonitis hin. Niemand sagt, dass in diesem Bereich die intelligenteste Sparmöglichkeit darin bestünde, das Handy einfach in Not- und Dringlichkeitsfällen möglichst ganz kurz einzusetzen. Niemand weist darauf hin, dass die Kids, wie der Fachausdruck für modernisierte Kinder lautet, bereits wegen des unmäßigen Handygebrauchs oft stark verschuldet sind, die Bildung vernachlässigen und nicht noch durch Preissenkungen zu einer Ausdehnung des Handygebrauchs animiert werden sollten; die Folgen liest man dann wieder in den Pisa-Studien nach. Die schiefen Bildungstürme scheinen allmählich zu kippen.

Man könnte die Kids ja auch einmal zum Lesen anhalten und die Bücher verbilligen. Vom Verlag Textatelier.com können Jugendliche einen Spezialrabatt einfordern. Sie können mich darauf behaften. Wenn sie lesen, besteht die Gefahr, dass sie das eingesparte Geld nicht zum blödsinnigen Herumtelefonieren verwenden.
