What some moms did during their summer vacation

Cindy Sheehan and I both were on vacation last week. I stayed in Phoenix. She traveled to Crawford, Texas. I went to the used record store, caught a movie, swam, got a haircut, cooked, bought a pair of jeans, knocked around with my 13-year-old, ate out, watched TV, played poker (and lost) with the lady who used to live next door, and slept late. Cindy changed America. (Yeah, well, I also purchased patio furniture.) Cindy took on the president of the United States. She left her home in California, set up camp at the end of the driveway to President Bush's ranch in Crawford and said that she wasn't leaving until he met with her. She's still there...
