IT IS NOT AN HONORABLE THING TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM IN A -- NUCLEAR! --ATTACK ON A PEACEFUL COUNTRY THAT NEVER HAS ATTACKED US!!!!!!!!!!!! ON THE CONTRARY, THE -- ONLY -- HONORABLE THING, IS TO OPPOSE SUCH AN ATTACK WITH EVERYTHING IN ONE'S POWER! Saying you're sorry, AFTERWARDS, as so many Viet Nam Veterans have done, IS TOO LATE -- especially, when the attack is NUCLEAR!!!!!! The consequences of a NUCLEAR attack, will be felt by Iranians, AND people of the surrounding countries, for many, many GENERATIONS to come -- in the form of radiation sickness, birth defects, poisoning of the land itself, etc.
NO-ONE CAN SAY ANYMORE, THAT SUCH A GROSS CRIME BY BUSH AND THE NEO-CONS -- IS "UNTHINKABLE"!!!
We MUST stop this future war against Iran, by stopping people from fighting in it -- making it a DIS-honorable, instead of an "honorable", thing to do, to fight or participate in any way in such a war. IT IS NOT AN HONORABLE THING, TO BE A PART OF AN INVADING ARMY! AND, IT IS NOT AN HONORABLE THING, TO BOMB HELPLESS AND INNOFFENSIVE PEOPLE FROM THE AIR!
Bush & Co., want to NUKE Iran, rather than be bogged down in a land war as in Iraq. All he needs for that, is a small elite group of Air Force Pilots, and their support personnel. It is a VERY TALL ORDER, I know, but the ONLY LOGICAL THING TO DO, is to EMPHASIZE TO THESE COMBAT PILOTS, THAT IT IS A -- DIS-HONORABLE -- thing they are being asked to do, NOT an "Honorable" one in any sense of the word whatsoever! Their own mothers and fathers must dis-own them!!!!!
Years later, like Viet Nam Veterans, some may write their memoirs, or go re-visit the scene of their crimes, and feel deep regret and guilt, and say to the survivors that they are sorry, as a large number of Viet Nam Veterans have done. THAT WILL NOT BRING BACK A SINGLE SHATTERED LIFE!!!!!!! It will do NOTHING, to de-contaminate the PERMANENT poisoning of the land, of the air, and of the water, of the area -- probably extending even FAR BEYOND Iran itself. ALL TO BE A HIRED MERCENARY SO THAT THE BUSH AND SAUDI INTERLOCKED FAMILIES CAN GET EVEN RICHER THAN THEY ALREADY ARE, AND ROB THE AMERICAN PEOPLE OF EVEN THEIR LAST DIME????????
We CAN'T say now, that we "don't know". And, knowing, that puts us under the obligation to do everything in our power, to STOP the loss of innocent life in Iran, that OUR SOLDIERS WILL BE DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR, if we allow them to go and to fight over there, as if they were nothing but mindless, soulless robots -- WHICH THEY ARE NOT!!!!!!!
OUR SOLDIERS WILL BE ASKED TO GO OVER TO IRAN, TO FLY OVER IRAN PERHAPS, AND DROP NUKES AND/OR CONVENTIONAL WEAPONS -- OR LAND MINES, OR POISON GAS, OR BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS -- AND WE CANNOT SAY THAT THEY ARE "BRAVE" AND THAT IT IS PERFECTLY OK WITH US THAT THEY "DO WHAT THEY ARE TOLD"! No matter HOW much they are being PAID to take innocent lives!!!!!!!!
IT IS NOT OK, NOT HONORABLE, THESE DAYS TO BE A SOLDIER IN THE EMPLOY OF G.W. BUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT THESE DAYS!!!!!!!
It is not ok, to PRETEND that a soldier is nothing but a mindless, soulless robot, when they are NO such thing; and, pretending that, leads DIRECTLY to the soldiers' mental illesses and high rate of suicides, domestic abuse, and violent crime, when they return to civilian life, and try to cope, psychologically, with what they have done, seen others do, and have been DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR DOING. If they WERE mindless robots, they WOULDN'T be having these reactions.
There IS resistance within the military, to Bush and his absurd and criminal orders he gives as Commander-in-Chief. Resistance as high as the level of the Generals. We don't hear much about it of course. It is covered up as much as possible; but, every once in a while, a bit does get thru.
That shows us, that some, and probably MANY MORE soldiers than we ever hear of, DO HAVE A SENSE OF HONOR -- A SENSE OF HONOR THAT LEADS THEM TO RESIST AND REFUSE -- NOT -- TO "MINDLESSLY OBEY"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To obey, under THESE circumstances, means, to PUT ASIDE one's sense of honor -- and, to NEVER GET IT BACK AGAIN!!!!!!!!
For attacking Iraq, we were lied to, and all-too-many believed those lies.
THERE IS NO LIE THAT BUSH COULD POSSIBLY TELL US, THAT WOULD JUSTIFY A NUCLEAR ATTACK ON IRAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Therefore, "believing lies" is NO LONGER AN EXCUSE FOR TAKING DIS-HONORABLE AND ANTI-HUMAN ACTION!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not let the men and the women who will serve as Bush's mercenaries in the next war, believe for one single moment, that what they are doing is right and honorable. It is not. George Bush is not an honorable Commander-in-Chief. There is NO WAY, that serving under a man like THAT, could EVER be construed, as in ANY way an honorable service. Carrying out the CRIMINAL COMMANDS of a Commander like that, is in itself a Criminal Act. It is morally NO BETTER, than being a hit man or a hit woman, for the chief of a Criminal Syndicate. Not in ANY WAY a better thing. And, deep down inside, OUR YOUNG MEN AND YOUNG WOMEN IN THE MILITARY -- THEY KNOW THIS!!!!
