This past week, Congress and the Supreme Court have served up a double whammy hit against some of our most basic rights and freedoms. First up, the House of Representatives passed an amendment to the Constitution that would allow Congress to have the power to 'prohibit the physical desecration of the flag of the United States.' Has flag burning become such a pervasive problem then? You would think so with all the heated rhetoric being spouted by the ban supporters...
