At a recent organizing meeting for the upcoming large anti-war protest in downtown Miami on March 19th, the head of one of the participating anti-war groups admonished me for referring to the slaughter in Iraq as "genocide".
Though we are all still on the same side of this issue, I thought it very useful for everyone to see for themselves what the use of depleted uranium weapons is doing to both its targets and its users AND THEIR DESCENDANTS WHO WILL ONLY KNOW PAIN AND HORROR IN THEIR SHORT LIVES. This is horrifying but very real.
According to this report, we have released the equivalent of 400,000 Nagasaki nuclear bombs into the atmosphere already and some are still saying this is NOT genocide? Don't miss this link. Make sure you forward it.
