Akute Gesundheitsgefährdung der Anwohner der Mobilfunkanlage Stählingerstr.1
Verdacht auf synergistische Schädigung durch UMTS, Richtfunk- und Fernsehsender
Frau MR. und Frau B. hatten am 22.11.05 verzweifelt bei der Ärzteinitiative Bamberger Appell um Hilfe gebeten. Ihre Krankheitssymptome, die wenige Wochen nach Inbetriebnahme eines Mobilfunksenders in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft auftraten, seien so massiv und bedrohlich, dass sie sich nur noch für jeweils kurze Zeit zu Hause aufhalten könnten. Sie müssten auswärts bei Bekannten oder Verwandten schlafen. 30 weitere Anwohner seien betroffen. Sie hätten sich seit September an ihren Bürgermeister, an das Gesundheitsamt, an das LfU, an das Innenministerium, an die Bundesnetzagentur, an die Hausbesitzerin und an den Betreiber gewandt, bisher ohne Erfolg.
Daraufhin habe ich die vier oben genannten Anwohner am 23.11. abends und am 24.11. morgens in ihren Häusern besucht (ich hatte am 24.11.nachmittags gemeinsam mit Herrn Dr. Bergmann, Freiburger Appell und Frau Hentschel, Bundesverband Elektrosmog einen Termin bei Herrn J.Ryan, Europäische Kommission, Generaldirektion Gesundheit und Verbraucherschutz, zum Thema Gesundheitsgefährdung durch Mobilfunk).
Herr B., 56 J., erkrankte ab Mitte Juli. Als ehemaliger Telekom-Mitarbeiter machte er sich keinerlei Gedanken, als im Juni 2005 auf dem Nachbarhaus eine Mobilfunkanlage montiert wurde. Er ist im Ruhestand und hielt sich ganztägig in seinem Haus auf, beschäftigt mit Renovierungsarbeiten. Es begann mit Übelkeit, Schwindel, Kopfschmerzen und Schmerzen in der Schilddrüse. Dann kamen hinzu: heiß brennende Schmerzen im Gesicht, am Hals und an den Schultern, Rot- und Braunverfärbung der Haut, sonnenbrandähnliche Flecken im Gesicht und am Körper (entstehend während der Nacht), brennende sowie gerötete Augen, schwerste Schlafstörungen bis hin zu völliger Schlaflosigkeit, Unruhe, Reizbarkeit, Kontrollverlust über das eigene Handeln, Wortfindungsstörungen, Vergesslichkeit, Herzrasen, Blutdruckschwankungen, massiver Haarausfall, nächtliches Schwitzen, ständiger Durst, Gewichtsabnahme von 10 kg in drei Wochen, Taubheitsgefühl der linken Gesichtshälfte, Schleier vor dem linkem Auge, braun-gelbe, fahle Gesichtsfarbe.
Als er völlig erschöpft war, nicht mehr aufstehen konnte und zu seiner Frau sagte: "Ich warte auf den Tod", sorgte sie sofort für einen Ortswechsel zu den Kindern.
Bei Frau B., 54 J., (sie war tagsüber viel unterwegs, um Materialien für die Renovierung zu besorgen) traten die ersten Symptome Anfang August auf. Sie hatte häufig einen steifen Nacken, war benommen und litt unter Kopfschmerzen und Schlafstörungen. Dann begannen die Augen stark zu brennen, anzuschwellen und sich zu röten. Sie litt unter Herzrasen, Herzstolpern und anfallweise hohem Blutdruck (180/110mm Hg, normalerweise 110/70 mm Hg). Es war ein Gefühl, als würde das „Blut kochen“. Nächtliches Nasenbluten, Gelenk- und Gliederschmerzen, Tinnitus links, Sehstörungen, Haarausfall, Übelkeit.
Während eines längeren Aufenthaltes bei ihrem Sohn haben bei beiden die Krankheitssymptome nachgelassen.
Herr B. Junior ist mit seiner Frau aus dem Anwesen Volksgarten 1 ausgezogen. Er litt unter starken Kopfschmerzen und Schlafstörungen.
Frau MR., 40 J., erkrankte Ende Juni mit schweren Gelenk- und Muskelschmerzen am ganzen Körper, so dass sie etwa drei Wochen lang fast nicht laufen konnte. Eine symptomatische Behandlung erfolgte beim Hausarzt, der jedoch die Ursache der Erkrankung nicht abklären konnte. Gleichzeitig litt sie unter Haarausfall. In der Folge traten auf: Schlafstörungen, Unruhe, Kopfschmerzen, Gereiztheit, Ohrgeräusche, Konzentrationsstörungen, Vergesslichkeit, Wortfindungsstörungen. Seit Oktober kamen hinzu: Herzrasen, hoher Blutdruck (190/130 mmHg), kalte Hände und Füße, heißes Gesicht, brennende Augen, Juckreiz am ganzen Körper, nächtliches Schwitzen, Übelkeit. Sie schläft daher seit mehreren Wochen nicht mehr zu Hause.
Ihre zwei Vögel (Wellensittich, Nymphensittich) hätten sich im Verhalten geändert. Sie seien verstummt und bewegungsarm. Ihr Hund habe seit 4 Monaten Bindehautentzündung, Juckreiz und habe sich im Zimmer einen anderen Platz gesucht.
Bei Frau M. Karin, 65 J., begann es mit Schlafstörungen und Kopfschmerzen. Dann folgten Unruhe, Benommenheit, Reizbarkeit, Tinnitus, Vergesslichkeit, depressive Stimmung, Gelenk- und Gliederschmerzen, Juckreiz am ganzen Körper, Herzrhythmusstörungen, hoher Blutdruck, kalte Extremitäten, heißer Kopf, rote, brennende Augen, Haarausfall, nächtliches Schwitzen und Übelkeit. Sie wisse nicht mehr weiter und habe nicht mehr die Kraft das Haus zu verlassen. „Lieber sterbe ich als wegzugehen.“
Frau St., …………., begegnete ich auf der Strasse. Sie klagte über ständigen Juckreiz an den Beinen, Schlafstörungen und Augenbrennen in den letzten Wochen.
Weitere 26 Anwohner haben auf Unterschriftenlisten folgende Symptome vermerkt: brennende, gerötete oder tränende Augen, Nervosität, Kopfschmerzen, Schlafstörungen, hohen Blutdruck, Juckreiz, Hitzegefühl, Taubheitsgefühle, Ohrenschmerzen, Schwindel und/ oder Übelkeit.
Besucher bei der Familie B. hätten nach einer halben Stunde über Unwohlsein, Benommenheit, Kopfschmerzen, müde und brennende Augen geklagt und seien fortan nicht mehr gekommen.
Der 11-jährige Enkel habe ebenfalls bei Besuchen unter Kopfschmerzen gelitten.
Zusammenfassung:
Die Erkrankungen des Ehepaars B., von Frau MR. und von Frau M. wurden verursacht durch die Inbetriebnahme des Mobilfunksenders in der Stählingerstraße 1 (einschließlich Richtfunk) im Juni 2005.
Begründung:
- Die Betroffenen waren bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt weitgehend beschwerdefrei;
- sie leiden an der für das Mikrowellensyndrom charakteristischen Kombination von Symptomen;
- viele Anwohner sind im gleichen Zeitraum an ähnlichen Symptomen erkrankt;
- etliche der genannten Symptome sind eindeutig sichtbar ( Rötung und Bräunung der Haut, Augenschwellung, Augenrötung, fahle Gesichtsfarbe, Haarausfall) und messbar (Blutdruck, Herzfrequenz, Gewicht);
- einzelne Symptome treten auch bei Besuchern nach kurzer Zeit auf;
- ein großer Teil der Symptome verschwindet nach Verlassen des Wohnviertels;
- mehrere Menschen sind bereits weggezogen und mehrere schlafen regelmäßig an anderen Orten, weil die Symptome so quälend, unerträglich und bedrohlich sind.
Die besondere Schwere der Krankheitsbilder (Herzrhythmusstörungen, Blutdruckentgleisungen, hirnorganische Symptome, Suizidgedanken) erfordert eine sofortige Beendigung der Hochfrequenzbelastung ausgehend von dem Mobilfunksender auf dem Nachbarhaus sowie eine Erhebung der Erkrankungen an diesem Mobilfunkstandort. Die Menschen leiden unter denselben Symptomen, welche Ärzte in den letzten 15 Monaten bei 800 Anwohnern an 152 Standorten vorgefunden haben.
Die bisherige Weigerung der zuständigen Behörden und Wissenschaftler, diese längst überfälligen Erhebungen an diesem wie auch an anderen Mobilfunkstandorten durchzuführen, ist nicht mit dem Grundgesetz vereinbar. Es kann nicht länger hingenommen werden, dass weitreichende und schwere Gesundheitsschäden der Betroffenen billigend in Kauf genommen werden. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass Ärzte seit mehr als 10 Jahren kausale Zusammenhänge zwischen Hochfrequenzbelastung und Erkrankung beobachten, ist das Versäumnis der zuständigen Behörden und der Wissenschaft aus ärztlicher Sicht als unterlassene Hilfeleistung zu bewerten.
Aus ärztlicher Sicht besteht für die Anwohner eine akute Gefährdung ihrer Gesundheit. Daher ist ein sofortiges Einschreiten der Behörden geboten.
Ich habe mit Frau B. am 24.11.05 um 8 Uhr 30 Herrn Fery, Untere Bauaufsichtsbehörde, und Frau Hennrich, Rechts- und Ordnungsamt, aufgesucht und sie davon in Kenntnis gesetzt, dass aus ärztlicher Sicht eine akute Gesundheitsgefahr besteht.
Ich habe dies in Anwesenheit von Herrn Fery auch dem Leiter des Gesundheitsamtes, Herrn Dr.Baltis telefonisch mitgeteilt und um sofortiges Einschreiten gebeten.
Das Messprotokoll der Bundesnetzagentur über die am 7.10.05 von ihr durchgeführten Messungen lag dem Amt noch nicht vor. Nur die Summenwerte der elektrischen Feldstärke mit einem Höchstwert von 2,3 V/m sind im Protokoll der Stadt festgehalten. Für die Bewertung ist die Kenntnis der selektiven Messung unabdingbar. Die von mir durchgeführte orientierende Summenmessung (800-2500 MHz) mit HF 38 B von Gigahertz Solutions ergab im Dachgeschoss 700 µW/m². Aus welchem Frequenzbereich stammt also der Hauptanteil der elektrischen Feldstärke?

Herr M. hatte sich im Oktober 2005 wegen unerträglicher Schmerzen im Kopf und Gesicht und wegen quälender Dauergeräusche im Kopf an die Ärzteinitiative „Bamberger Appell“ gewandt.
Daraufhin habe ich ihn und einige Nachbarn am 15.11. und 16.11.05 zu Hause besucht.
Ende November 2001 waren bei ihm Unruhe, Schlafstörungen und Ohrgeräusche aufgetreten. Die aufgesuchten Ärzte konnten keine organische Ursache finden. Wenn er sein Wohngebiet damals verließ, fühlte er sich wieder wohl. Die einzige Veränderung, die in seinem Wohnumfeld stattgefunden hatte, war die Errichtung eines Mobilfunksenders auf dem Nachbarhaus. Da Herr M. darin die Ursache seiner Beschwerden vermutete, wandte er sich an die Gemeinde und an die zuständigen Behörden mit der Bitte um Abklärung und Abhilfe – leider ohne Erfolg. Daraufhin führte er Abschirmmaßnahmen an Dach, Wänden und Fenstern (2002, 2004) durch. Diese brachten jedoch nicht die erhoffte Besserung. Herrn M.s Gesundheitszustand verschlechterte sich weiter. Zahnschmerzen, Gesichtsschmerzen, Kopfschmerzen, Augenentzündung, Linsentrübung und Hörsturz kamen hinzu. Die behandelnden Ärzte waren weitgehend hilflos. Ihm half jedoch im Jahr 2004 ein Auslandsaufenthalt bei seiner Tochter in den USA in einer mobilfunkfreien Gegend.
Bei seiner 56-jährigen, berufstätigen Frau traten die Beschwerden etwas später auf. Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt leidet sie unter Schlafstörungen, Erschöpfung, Kopfschmerzen, Schwindel, hohem Blutdruck, Haarausfall, Augenbrennen und Gelenkbeschwerden.
Herr M. sieht krank, angespannt und mitgenommen aus. Die ständigen Schmerzen im rechten Hinterkopf und in der linken Gesichtshälfte und das hämmernde, pulsierende und rauschende Geräusch im Kopf quälen ihn aufs äußerste.
Ich war mit ihm an beiden Tagen mehrere Stunden zu Messungen unterwegs. Ihn plagten diese Schmerzen und Geräusche ununterbrochen außer an einem Ort, an den er mich führte.
Dabei handelt es sich um eine kleine Straße, die von seinem außerhalb des Ortes gelegenen Gartengrundstück aus in eine Mulde im Hang führt. Die Beschwerden verschwanden dort nicht ganz, aber sie waren etwas leichter. An diesem Ort betrug der Messwert 0,5 µW/m².
Sämtliche Messungen wurden von mir mit dem Gerät HF 38 B von Gigahertz Solutions durchgeführt. Es ermöglicht eine orientierende Summenmessung der Hochfrequenz von 800 bis 2500 MHz.
Im Haus von M. s lagen die Messwerte zwischen 5 und 300 µW/m² An der Außenseite des Hauses betrug der Wert 400µW/m²
Für die Auswirkungen auf die Gesundheit muss die bereits über einen langen Zeitraum vorhandene Hochfrequenzbelastung durch den starken Mittelwellensender in Mühlacker (ca.3 km) mitberücksichtigt werden. Synergismen sind möglich. Mehrfach wurde Versagen von Autoelektronik beobachtet, ebenso wie Störungen von Fernsehgeräten.
Bei folgenden Anwohnern des Mobilfunksenders Schönenberger Str. 22 habe ich Messungen und Befragungen durchgeführt:

Beim Besuch in diesen 8 Haushalten bin ich auf 21 Menschen getroffen, die ebenfalls unter den charakteristischen, durch Hochfrequenz ausgelösten Krankheitssymptomen leiden (s. Anlage über die Erhebungen in Oberfranken). Ein schmerzgeplagter Anwohner hat sich am 17.11.05 das Leben genommen.
Zusammenfassung.
Die Erkrankung von Herrn M. wurde ausgelöst durch die gepulsten hochfrequenten elektromagnetischen Felder ausgehend von der 2001 in Betrieb gegangenen Mobilfunk-sendeanlage auf dem Nachbarhaus.
Begründung:
Herr M. ist seit Inbetriebnahme der 2. Mobilfunksendeanlage im November 2001 dauerhaft erkrankt.
Er leidet an vielen der für das Mikrowellensyndrom charakteristischen Symptomen.
Mehrere Nachbarn sind ebenfalls am Mikrowellensyndrom erkrankt.
Die aufgesuchten Ärzte konnten keine organischen Ursachen finden.
Bei einem längeren Auslandsaufenthalt ohne Mobilfunkexposition war er beschwerdefrei.
Die Schwere des Krankheitsbildes (unerträgliche, therapieresistente Schmerzen und quälende Kopfgeräusche) erfordert eine sofortige Beendigung der gepulsten Hochfrequenzbelastung ausgehend von den Mobilfunksendeanlagen auf dem Nachbarhaus sowie eine Erhebung der Erkrankungen an diesem Mobilfunkstandort.

Betreff: Akute Gesundheitsgefährdung für die Anwohner folgender Mobilfunkbasisstationen:

Sehr geehrte Frau Ministerin,
gestatten Sie, dass ich mich wegen äußerst beunruhigender ärztlicher Beobachtungen an Sie wende.
Anwohner der oben aufgeführten Mobilfunkstandorte hatten sich in den letzten Monaten mehrfach an die Ärzteinitiative „Bamberger Appell“ gewandt mit der Bitte um Hilfe.
An den Standorten in Dresden habe ich selbst am 1.7., 2.7. und 3.7. und am 2.10.05 Hochfrequenzmessungen und Befragungen durchgeführt.
Die Messungen erfolgten mit dem Gerät HF 38B der Firma Gigahertz Solutions. Es ermöglicht eine orientierende Summenmessung des Frequenzbereiches 800 – 2.500 MHz.
In Scheibenberg hat Dr. Hopf, Landesuntersuchungsanstalt für das Gesundheits- und Veterinärwesen Sachsen bei der betroffenen Familie S. die Expositionsverhältnisse erfasst.
Der längst geplante Bericht an Sie hat sich verzögert, da mehrere hundert Anfragen pro Woche bei der Ärzteinitiative eingehen. Frau S. befindet sich in einer Notlage, ihr verzweifelter Anruf aus Scheibenberg zwingt mich als Ärztin jetzt sofort zu reagieren.
Wegen der Hochfrequenzbelastung im eigenen Haus hat das Ehepaar S. die letzten 6 Monate größtenteils bei Verwandten, Bekannten und im Urlaub verbracht. Dort fühlten sie sich wohl und waren weitgehend beschwerdefrei. Herr S. fährt alle 2 Wochen zur Therapie seiner Chron. Myeloischen Leukämie (aufgetreten 1997) nach Frankfurt/Main. Da jetzt der Winter kommt mussten sie wieder ins eigene Haus zurückkehren.
Schon in der zweiten Nacht litt Herr S. unter Schlafstörungen, Herzschmerzen und Herzrhythmusstörungen. Obwohl das Ehepaar im Erdgeschoss im Wohnzimmer schläft (niedrigste Exposition) stellten sich die seit mehreren Jahren aufgetretenen Symptome
(Kopfschmerzen, Nervosität, Ohrgeräusche, ständige Müdigkeit, Augenentzündungen, Akne) wieder ein. Aus ärztlicher Sicht ist dies nicht hinnehmbar, denn:
* für einen Menschen mit einer schweren Grunderkrankung ist ein unbelastetes Schlafumfeld unabdingbar, damit sich das angegriffene Immunsystem überhaupt noch erholen kann und nicht völlig kollabiert.
* unter Hochfrequenzbelastung auftretende Herzrhythmusstörungen können lebensbedrohlich werden.
Aus ärztlicher Sicht besteht dringendster Verdacht auf ursächlichem Zusammenhang zwischen Beschwerden und Hochfrequenzbelastung. Daher ist es für mich völlig unverständlich, dass der Sender auf dem Nachbarhaus entgegen der Empfehlung der Landesuntersuchungsanstalt weiter aufgerüstet wurde.
In Dresden-Weissig kam es nach Wiederinbetriebnahme des Senders Radeberger Str. im September 2005 zu unerträglichen Gesundheitsstörungen bei etlichen Anwohnern. Sie sind verzweifelt. Sie leiden unter Schlafstörungen, Alpträumen, Kopfschmerzen, Unruhe, Schwindel, Benommenheit, Tinnitus, quälenden Kopfgeräuschen, Gelenkbeschwerden, Muskelschmerzen, Herzschmerzen, Herzrhythmusstörungen, erhöhtem Blutdruck. In folgenden Haushalten habe ich Messungen und Befragungen (s. Anlagen) durchgeführt:

Die Messwerte in den Häusern lagen zwischen 50 und 4.600 µW/m². Für die gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen ist von Bedeutung, dass die Anwohner auch durch die Sendeanlagen auf dem Hutberg belastet werden.
Etliche Anwohner sind in zeitlichem Zusammenhang mit der Wiederinbetriebnahme des Mobilfunksenders an den für Hochfrequenzbelastung charakteristischen Symptomen erkrankt. Aus ärztlicher Sicht besteht daher kein Zweifel an einem kausalen Zusammenhang.
In der Alfred-Thiele-Str., Dresden, ist der Mobilfunksender seit knapp 2 Jahren in Betrieb. Kein Vertreter der zuständigen Bundesbehörden (BfS, BMU, SSK) hat sich vor Ort informiert und die Behörden weigern sich, Gesundheitserhebungen vor Ort durchzuführen, obwohl ihnen folgende Fakten bekannt sind:
* die Exposition in den umliegenden Holzhäusern ist besonders hoch (bis zu 15.000µW/m²).
* viele vorher gesunde Menschen sind an den typischen Symptomen erkrankt.
* die Landesuntersuchungsanstalt sieht einen Zusammenhang zwischen Erkrankung und Hochfrequenzexposition
* die Krankenkasse bestätigt den Verdacht
* die erkrankte Familie K. ist aus dem eigenen Haus vor einem Jahr ausgezogen.
* die Familie wird in unbelastetem Wohnumfeld wieder gesund
* selbst Pflanzen sind dort zugrunde gegangen

Die Messwerte lagen zwischen 20 und 15.000 µW/m².
Ein zentrales Symptom der Hochfrequenzbelastung ist die chronische Erschöpfung gepaart mit depressiver Stimmung und dem Gefühl der Hilflosigkeit. Die Bewältigung eines normalen Alltags stellt viele Betroffene vor eine unlösbare Aufgabe. Sie resignieren, ergeben sich ihrem Schicksal und sehen sich nicht in der Lage, sich gegen eine Körperverletzung zu wehren, die ihnen jegliche Lebensqualität nimmt und keine Hoffung auf eine Verbesserung ihrer aussichtlosen Situation zulässt.
Dies ist in der Alfred-Thiele-Straße der Fall.
Im Umkreis der oben aufgeführten Mobilfunkbasisstationen besteht akute Gefahr für die Gesundheit der Anwohner. Ich bitte Sie daher unverzüglich einzuschreiten. Die von den Mobilfunksendeanlagen ausgehende Hochfrequenzbelastung muss beendet und der Gesundheitszustand der Anwohner erfasst werden.
Die Weigerung der zuständigen Behörden und Wissenschaftler, diese längst überfälligen Erhebungen an diesem wie auch an anderen Mobilfunkstandorten durchzuführen, ist nicht mit dem Grundgesetz vereinbar. Es kann nicht länger hingenommen werden, dass weitreichende und schwere Gesundheitsschäden der Betroffenen billigend in Kauf genommen werden. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass Ärzte seit mehr als 10 Jahren kausale Zusammenhänge zwischen Hochfrequenzexposition und Erkrankung beobachten, ist das Versäumnis der zuständigen Behörden und der Wissenschaft aus ärztlicher Sicht als unterlassene Hilfeleistung zu bewerten.

Diagnose: Schweres Mikrowellensyndrom weit unterhalb der Grenzwerte der 26. BImSchV
Akute Gesundheitsgefährdung der Anwohner der Mobilfunkanlage Stählingerstr.1
Verdacht auf synergistische Schädigung durch UMTS, Richtfunk- und Fernsehsender
Frau MR. und Frau B. hatten am 22.11.05 verzweifelt bei der Ärzteinitiative Bamberger Appell um Hilfe gebeten. Ihre Krankheitssymptome, die wenige Wochen nach Inbetriebnahme eines Mobilfunksenders in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft auftraten, seien so massiv und bedrohlich, dass sie sich nur noch für jeweils kurze Zeit zu Hause aufhalten könnten. Sie müssten auswärts bei Bekannten oder Verwandten schlafen. 30 weitere Anwohner seien betroffen. Sie hätten sich seit September an ihren Bürgermeister, an das Gesundheitsamt, an das LfU, an das Innenministerium, an die Bundesnetzagentur, an die Hausbesitzerin und an den Betreiber gewandt, bisher ohne Erfolg.
Daraufhin habe ich die vier oben genannten Anwohner am 23.11. abends und am 24.11. morgens in ihren Häusern besucht (ich hatte am 24.11.nachmittags gemeinsam mit Herrn Dr. Bergmann, Freiburger Appell und Frau Hentschel, Bundesverband Elektrosmog einen Termin bei Herrn J.Ryan, Europäische Kommission, Generaldirektion Gesundheit und Verbraucherschutz, zum Thema Gesundheitsgefährdung durch Mobilfunk).
Herr B., 56 J., erkrankte ab Mitte Juli. Als ehemaliger Telekom-Mitarbeiter machte er sich keinerlei Gedanken, als im Juni 2005 auf dem Nachbarhaus eine Mobilfunkanlage montiert wurde. Er ist im Ruhestand und hielt sich ganztägig in seinem Haus auf, beschäftigt mit Renovierungsarbeiten. Es begann mit Übelkeit, Schwindel, Kopfschmerzen und Schmerzen in der Schilddrüse. Dann kamen hinzu: heiß brennende Schmerzen im Gesicht, am Hals und an den Schultern, Rot- und Braunverfärbung der Haut, sonnenbrandähnliche Flecken im Gesicht und am Körper (entstehend während der Nacht), brennende sowie gerötete Augen, schwerste Schlafstörungen bis hin zu völliger Schlaflosigkeit, Unruhe, Reizbarkeit, Kontrollverlust über das eigene Handeln, Wortfindungsstörungen, Vergesslichkeit, Herzrasen, Blutdruckschwankungen, massiver Haarausfall, nächtliches Schwitzen, ständiger Durst, Gewichtsabnahme von 10 kg in drei Wochen, Taubheitsgefühl der linken Gesichtshälfte, Schleier vor dem linkem Auge, braun-gelbe, fahle Gesichtsfarbe.
Als er völlig erschöpft war, nicht mehr aufstehen konnte und zu seiner Frau sagte: "Ich warte auf den Tod", sorgte sie sofort für einen Ortswechsel zu den Kindern.
Bei Frau B., 54 J., (sie war tagsüber viel unterwegs, um Materialien für die Renovierung zu besorgen) traten die ersten Symptome Anfang August auf. Sie hatte häufig einen steifen Nacken, war benommen und litt unter Kopfschmerzen und Schlafstörungen. Dann begannen die Augen stark zu brennen, anzuschwellen und sich zu röten. Sie litt unter Herzrasen, Herzstolpern und anfallweise hohem Blutdruck (180/110mm Hg, normalerweise 110/70 mm Hg). Es war ein Gefühl, als würde das „Blut kochen“. Nächtliches Nasenbluten, Gelenk- und Gliederschmerzen, Tinnitus links, Sehstörungen, Haarausfall, Übelkeit.
Während eines längeren Aufenthaltes bei ihrem Sohn haben bei beiden die Krankheitssymptome nachgelassen.
Herr B. Junior ist mit seiner Frau aus dem Anwesen Volksgarten 1 ausgezogen. Er litt unter starken Kopfschmerzen und Schlafstörungen.
Frau MR., 40 J., erkrankte Ende Juni mit schweren Gelenk- und Muskelschmerzen am ganzen Körper, so dass sie etwa drei Wochen lang fast nicht laufen konnte. Eine symptomatische Behandlung erfolgte beim Hausarzt, der jedoch die Ursache der Erkrankung nicht abklären konnte. Gleichzeitig litt sie unter Haarausfall. In der Folge traten auf: Schlafstörungen, Unruhe, Kopfschmerzen, Gereiztheit, Ohrgeräusche, Konzentrationsstörungen, Vergesslichkeit, Wortfindungsstörungen. Seit Oktober kamen hinzu: Herzrasen, hoher Blutdruck (190/130 mmHg), kalte Hände und Füße, heißes Gesicht, brennende Augen, Juckreiz am ganzen Körper, nächtliches Schwitzen, Übelkeit. Sie schläft daher seit mehreren Wochen nicht mehr zu Hause.
Ihre zwei Vögel (Wellensittich, Nymphensittich) hätten sich im Verhalten geändert. Sie seien verstummt und bewegungsarm. Ihr Hund habe seit 4 Monaten Bindehautentzündung, Juckreiz und habe sich im Zimmer einen anderen Platz gesucht.
Bei Frau M. Karin, 65 J., begann es mit Schlafstörungen und Kopfschmerzen. Dann folgten Unruhe, Benommenheit, Reizbarkeit, Tinnitus, Vergesslichkeit, depressive Stimmung, Gelenk- und Gliederschmerzen, Juckreiz am ganzen Körper, Herzrhythmusstörungen, hoher Blutdruck, kalte Extremitäten, heißer Kopf, rote, brennende Augen, Haarausfall, nächtliches Schwitzen und Übelkeit. Sie wisse nicht mehr weiter und habe nicht mehr die Kraft das Haus zu verlassen. „Lieber sterbe ich als wegzugehen.“
Frau St., …………., begegnete ich auf der Strasse. Sie klagte über ständigen Juckreiz an den Beinen, Schlafstörungen und Augenbrennen in den letzten Wochen.
Weitere 26 Anwohner haben auf Unterschriftenlisten folgende Symptome vermerkt: brennende, gerötete oder tränende Augen, Nervosität, Kopfschmerzen, Schlafstörungen, hohen Blutdruck, Juckreiz, Hitzegefühl, Taubheitsgefühle, Ohrenschmerzen, Schwindel und/ oder Übelkeit.
Besucher bei der Familie B. hätten nach einer halben Stunde über Unwohlsein, Benommenheit, Kopfschmerzen, müde und brennende Augen geklagt und seien fortan nicht mehr gekommen.
Der 11-jährige Enkel habe ebenfalls bei Besuchen unter Kopfschmerzen gelitten.
Zusammenfassung:
Die Erkrankungen des Ehepaars B., von Frau MR. und von Frau M. wurden verursacht durch die Inbetriebnahme des Mobilfunksenders in der Stählingerstraße 1 (einschließlich Richtfunk) im Juni 2005.
Begründung:
- Die Betroffenen waren bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt weitgehend beschwerdefrei;
- sie leiden an der für das Mikrowellensyndrom charakteristischen Kombination von Symptomen;
- viele Anwohner sind im gleichen Zeitraum an ähnlichen Symptomen erkrankt;
- etliche der genannten Symptome sind eindeutig sichtbar ( Rötung und Bräunung der Haut, Augenschwellung, Augenrötung, fahle Gesichtsfarbe, Haarausfall) und messbar (Blutdruck, Herzfrequenz, Gewicht);
- einzelne Symptome treten auch bei Besuchern nach kurzer Zeit auf;
- ein großer Teil der Symptome verschwindet nach Verlassen des Wohnviertels;
- mehrere Menschen sind bereits weggezogen und mehrere schlafen regelmäßig an anderen Orten, weil die Symptome so quälend, unerträglich und bedrohlich sind.
Die besondere Schwere der Krankheitsbilder (Herzrhythmusstörungen, Blutdruckentgleisungen, hirnorganische Symptome, Suizidgedanken) erfordert eine sofortige Beendigung der Hochfrequenzbelastung ausgehend von dem Mobilfunksender auf dem Nachbarhaus sowie eine Erhebung der Erkrankungen an diesem Mobilfunkstandort. Die Menschen leiden unter denselben Symptomen, welche Ärzte in den letzten 15 Monaten bei 800 Anwohnern an 152 Standorten vorgefunden haben.
Die bisherige Weigerung der zuständigen Behörden und Wissenschaftler, diese längst überfälligen Erhebungen an diesem wie auch an anderen Mobilfunkstandorten durchzuführen, ist nicht mit dem Grundgesetz vereinbar. Es kann nicht länger hingenommen werden, dass weitreichende und schwere Gesundheitsschäden der Betroffenen billigend in Kauf genommen werden. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass Ärzte seit mehr als 10 Jahren kausale Zusammenhänge zwischen Hochfrequenzbelastung und Erkrankung beobachten, ist das Versäumnis der zuständigen Behörden und der Wissenschaft aus ärztlicher Sicht als unterlassene Hilfeleistung zu bewerten.
Aus ärztlicher Sicht besteht für die Anwohner eine akute Gefährdung ihrer Gesundheit. Daher ist ein sofortiges Einschreiten der Behörden geboten.
Ich habe mit Frau B. am 24.11.05 um 8 Uhr 30 Herrn Fery, Untere Bauaufsichtsbehörde, und Frau Hennrich, Rechts- und Ordnungsamt, aufgesucht und sie davon in Kenntnis gesetzt, dass aus ärztlicher Sicht eine akute Gesundheitsgefahr besteht.
Ich habe dies in Anwesenheit von Herrn Fery auch dem Leiter des Gesundheitsamtes, Herrn Dr.Baltis telefonisch mitgeteilt und um sofortiges Einschreiten gebeten.
Das Messprotokoll der Bundesnetzagentur über die am 7.10.05 von ihr durchgeführten Messungen lag dem Amt noch nicht vor. Nur die Summenwerte der elektrischen Feldstärke mit einem Höchstwert von 2,3 V/m sind im Protokoll der Stadt festgehalten. Für die Bewertung ist die Kenntnis der selektiven Messung unabdingbar. Die von mir durchgeführte orientierende Summenmessung (800-2500 MHz) mit HF 38 B von Gigahertz Solutions ergab im Dachgeschoss 700 µW/m². Aus welchem Frequenzbereich stammt also der Hauptanteil der elektrischen Feldstärke?

Herr M. hatte sich im Oktober 2005 wegen unerträglicher Schmerzen im Kopf und Gesicht und wegen quälender Dauergeräusche im Kopf an die Ärzteinitiative „Bamberger Appell“ gewandt.
Daraufhin habe ich ihn und einige Nachbarn am 15.11. und 16.11.05 zu Hause besucht.
Ende November 2001 waren bei ihm Unruhe, Schlafstörungen und Ohrgeräusche aufgetreten. Die aufgesuchten Ärzte konnten keine organische Ursache finden. Wenn er sein Wohngebiet damals verließ, fühlte er sich wieder wohl. Die einzige Veränderung, die in seinem Wohnumfeld stattgefunden hatte, war die Errichtung eines Mobilfunksenders auf dem Nachbarhaus. Da Herr M. darin die Ursache seiner Beschwerden vermutete, wandte er sich an die Gemeinde und an die zuständigen Behörden mit der Bitte um Abklärung und Abhilfe – leider ohne Erfolg. Daraufhin führte er Abschirmmaßnahmen an Dach, Wänden und Fenstern (2002, 2004) durch. Diese brachten jedoch nicht die erhoffte Besserung. Herrn M.s Gesundheitszustand verschlechterte sich weiter. Zahnschmerzen, Gesichtsschmerzen, Kopfschmerzen, Augenentzündung, Linsentrübung und Hörsturz kamen hinzu. Die behandelnden Ärzte waren weitgehend hilflos. Ihm half jedoch im Jahr 2004 ein Auslandsaufenthalt bei seiner Tochter in den USA in einer mobilfunkfreien Gegend.
Bei seiner 56-jährigen, berufstätigen Frau traten die Beschwerden etwas später auf. Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt leidet sie unter Schlafstörungen, Erschöpfung, Kopfschmerzen, Schwindel, hohem Blutdruck, Haarausfall, Augenbrennen und Gelenkbeschwerden.
Herr M. sieht krank, angespannt und mitgenommen aus. Die ständigen Schmerzen im rechten Hinterkopf und in der linken Gesichtshälfte und das hämmernde, pulsierende und rauschende Geräusch im Kopf quälen ihn aufs äußerste.
Ich war mit ihm an beiden Tagen mehrere Stunden zu Messungen unterwegs. Ihn plagten diese Schmerzen und Geräusche ununterbrochen außer an einem Ort, an den er mich führte.
Dabei handelt es sich um eine kleine Straße, die von seinem außerhalb des Ortes gelegenen Gartengrundstück aus in eine Mulde im Hang führt. Die Beschwerden verschwanden dort nicht ganz, aber sie waren etwas leichter. An diesem Ort betrug der Messwert 0,5 µW/m².
Sämtliche Messungen wurden von mir mit dem Gerät HF 38 B von Gigahertz Solutions durchgeführt. Es ermöglicht eine orientierende Summenmessung der Hochfrequenz von 800 bis 2500 MHz.
Im Haus von M. s lagen die Messwerte zwischen 5 und 300 µW/m² An der Außenseite des Hauses betrug der Wert 400µW/m²
Für die Auswirkungen auf die Gesundheit muss die bereits über einen langen Zeitraum vorhandene Hochfrequenzbelastung durch den starken Mittelwellensender in Mühlacker (ca.3 km) mitberücksichtigt werden. Synergismen sind möglich. Mehrfach wurde Versagen von Autoelektronik beobachtet, ebenso wie Störungen von Fernsehgeräten.
Bei folgenden Anwohnern des Mobilfunksenders Schönenberger Str. 22 habe ich Messungen und Befragungen durchgeführt:

Beim Besuch in diesen 8 Haushalten bin ich auf 21 Menschen getroffen, die ebenfalls unter den charakteristischen, durch Hochfrequenz ausgelösten Krankheitssymptomen leiden (s. Anlage über die Erhebungen in Oberfranken). Ein schmerzgeplagter Anwohner hat sich am 17.11.05 das Leben genommen.
Zusammenfassung.
Die Erkrankung von Herrn M. wurde ausgelöst durch die gepulsten hochfrequenten elektromagnetischen Felder ausgehend von der 2001 in Betrieb gegangenen Mobilfunk-sendeanlage auf dem Nachbarhaus.
Begründung:
Herr M. ist seit Inbetriebnahme der 2. Mobilfunksendeanlage im November 2001 dauerhaft erkrankt.
Er leidet an vielen der für das Mikrowellensyndrom charakteristischen Symptomen.
Mehrere Nachbarn sind ebenfalls am Mikrowellensyndrom erkrankt.
Die aufgesuchten Ärzte konnten keine organischen Ursachen finden.
Bei einem längeren Auslandsaufenthalt ohne Mobilfunkexposition war er beschwerdefrei.

gestatten Sie, dass ich mich wegen äußerst beunruhigender ärztlicher Beobachtungen an Sie wende.
Anwohner der oben aufgeführten Mobilfunkstandorte hatten sich in den letzten Monaten mehrfach an die Ärzteinitiative „Bamberger Appell“ gewandt mit der Bitte um Hilfe.
An den Standorten in Dresden habe ich selbst am 1.7., 2.7. und 3.7. und am 2.10.05 Hochfrequenzmessungen und Befragungen durchgeführt.
Die Messungen erfolgten mit dem Gerät HF 38B der Firma Gigahertz Solutions. Es ermöglicht eine orientierende Summenmessung des Frequenzbereiches 800 – 2.500 MHz.
In Scheibenberg hat Dr. Hopf, Landesuntersuchungsanstalt für das Gesundheits- und Veterinärwesen Sachsen bei der betroffenen Familie S. die Expositionsverhältnisse erfasst.
Der längst geplante Bericht an Sie hat sich verzögert, da mehrere hundert Anfragen pro Woche bei der Ärzteinitiative eingehen. Frau S. befindet sich in einer Notlage, ihr verzweifelter Anruf aus Scheibenberg zwingt mich als Ärztin jetzt sofort zu reagieren.
Wegen der Hochfrequenzbelastung im eigenen Haus hat das Ehepaar S. die letzten 6 Monate größtenteils bei Verwandten, Bekannten und im Urlaub verbracht. Dort fühlten sie sich wohl und waren weitgehend beschwerdefrei. Herr S. fährt alle 2 Wochen zur Therapie seiner Chron. Myeloischen Leukämie (aufgetreten 1997) nach Frankfurt/Main. Da jetzt der Winter kommt mussten sie wieder ins eigene Haus zurückkehren.
Schon in der zweiten Nacht litt Herr S. unter Schlafstörungen, Herzschmerzen und Herzrhythmusstörungen. Obwohl das Ehepaar im Erdgeschoss im Wohnzimmer schläft (niedrigste Exposition) stellten sich die seit mehreren Jahren aufgetretenen Symptome
(Kopfschmerzen, Nervosität, Ohrgeräusche, ständige Müdigkeit, Augenentzündungen, Akne) wieder ein. Aus ärztlicher Sicht ist dies nicht hinnehmbar, denn:
* für einen Menschen mit einer schweren Grunderkrankung ist ein unbelastetes Schlafumfeld unabdingbar, damit sich das angegriffene Immunsystem überhaupt noch erholen kann und nicht völlig kollabiert.
* unter Hochfrequenzbelastung auftretende Herzrhythmusstörungen können lebensbedrohlich werden.
Aus ärztlicher Sicht besteht dringendster Verdacht auf ursächlichem Zusammenhang zwischen Beschwerden und Hochfrequenzbelastung. Daher ist es für mich völlig unverständlich, dass der Sender auf dem Nachbarhaus entgegen der Empfehlung der Landesuntersuchungsanstalt weiter aufgerüstet wurde.
In Dresden-Weissig kam es nach Wiederinbetriebnahme des Senders Radeberger Str. im September 2005 zu unerträglichen Gesundheitsstörungen bei etlichen Anwohnern. Sie sind verzweifelt. Sie leiden unter Schlafstörungen, Alpträumen, Kopfschmerzen, Unruhe, Schwindel, Benommenheit, Tinnitus, quälenden Kopfgeräuschen, Gelenkbeschwerden, Muskelschmerzen, Herzschmerzen, Herzrhythmusstörungen, erhöhtem Blutdruck. In folgenden Haushalten habe ich Messungen und Befragungen (s. Anlagen) durchgeführt:

Die Messwerte in den Häusern lagen zwischen 50 und 4.600 µW/m². Für die gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen ist von Bedeutung, dass die Anwohner auch durch die Sendeanlagen auf dem Hutberg belastet werden.
Etliche Anwohner sind in zeitlichem Zusammenhang mit der Wiederinbetriebnahme des Mobilfunksenders an den für Hochfrequenzbelastung charakteristischen Symptomen erkrankt. Aus ärztlicher Sicht besteht daher kein Zweifel an einem kausalen Zusammenhang.
In der Alfred-Thiele-Str., Dresden, ist der Mobilfunksender seit knapp 2 Jahren in Betrieb. Kein Vertreter der zuständigen Bundesbehörden (BfS, BMU, SSK) hat sich vor Ort informiert und die Behörden weigern sich, Gesundheitserhebungen vor Ort durchzuführen, obwohl ihnen folgende Fakten bekannt sind:
* die Exposition in den umliegenden Holzhäusern ist besonders hoch (bis zu 15.000µW/m²).
* viele vorher gesunde Menschen sind an den typischen Symptomen erkrankt.
* die Landesuntersuchungsanstalt sieht einen Zusammenhang zwischen Erkrankung und Hochfrequenzexposition
* die Krankenkasse bestätigt den Verdacht
* die erkrankte Familie K. ist aus dem eigenen Haus vor einem Jahr ausgezogen.
* die Familie wird in unbelastetem Wohnumfeld wieder gesund
* selbst Pflanzen sind dort zugrunde gegangen

Ein zentrales Symptom der Hochfrequenzbelastung ist die chronische Erschöpfung gepaart mit depressiver Stimmung und dem Gefühl der Hilflosigkeit. Die Bewältigung eines normalen Alltags stellt viele Betroffene vor eine unlösbare Aufgabe. Sie resignieren, ergeben sich ihrem Schicksal und sehen sich nicht in der Lage, sich gegen eine Körperverletzung zu wehren, die ihnen jegliche Lebensqualität nimmt und keine Hoffung auf eine Verbesserung ihrer aussichtlosen Situation zulässt.
Dies ist in der Alfred-Thiele-Straße der Fall.
Im Umkreis der oben aufgeführten Mobilfunkbasisstationen besteht akute Gefahr für die Gesundheit der Anwohner. Ich bitte Sie daher unverzüglich einzuschreiten. Die von den Mobilfunksendeanlagen ausgehende Hochfrequenzbelastung muss beendet und der Gesundheitszustand der Anwohner erfasst werden.
Die Weigerung der zuständigen Behörden und Wissenschaftler, diese längst überfälligen Erhebungen an diesem wie auch an anderen Mobilfunkstandorten durchzuführen, ist nicht mit dem Grundgesetz vereinbar. Es kann nicht länger hingenommen werden, dass weitreichende und schwere Gesundheitsschäden der Betroffenen billigend in Kauf genommen werden. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass Ärzte seit mehr als 10 Jahren kausale Zusammenhänge zwischen Hochfrequenzexposition und Erkrankung beobachten, ist das Versäumnis der zuständigen Behörden und der Wissenschaft aus ärztlicher Sicht als unterlassene Hilfeleistung zu bewerten.

Concerns expressed on possible effects of mobile phones on humans have been dismissed by people involved in the business, but a recent research suggests that the electromagnetic "smog" from mobile phones and electronic goods could be playing a role in aiding depression.
In a study done in Australia pertaining to the period between 1968 and 2002, the researchers came to the conclusion that the suicide rates increased during geomagnetic storms, triggered by solar flares during these years.
"The sample was huge, involving 51,845 males and 16,327 females between 1968 and 2002. It would be useful to replicate this again; we did a previous study and found similar results. This suggests that electromagnetic radiation does affect behaviour" says Prof Michael Berk, Department of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences, University of Melbourne, Australia.
The study by Prof Berk came in support of the hypothesis that mood, and indeed suicidality, can be influenced by disturbances in the electromagnetic field in our environment and may have an adverse impact on mental health.
Man-made disturbances in the electromagnetic field are those caused by the power distribution grid and electrical devices.
It is here that the day to day devices like microwave ovens and mobile devices that emit magnetic fields come into the picture.
According to Prof Berk, two previous, but less comprehensive studies had also shown a positive relationship between geomagnetic storm activity and an increased incidence of suicide.
Blood pressure was shown to increase significantly for males and females when there was an increase in geomagnetic activity.A positive trend was also noticed between geomagnetic activity and subjective psycho-physiological complaints.
On the connection between mobile phones and depression, doctors are sceptical. " Depression is a psychiatric disorder and I am sure in 99 per cent case, it is the case. This is not seasonal as the study suggests," says Dr Samir Parikh, a Consultant Psychiatrist in New Delhi. "Magnetic field exposure is not a sufficient cause of depression or suicide," he says.
"Moreover, electromagnetic radiation is not always dangerous. Extremely high frequencies of electromagnetic waves (EHF-therapy) are used by doctors to treat various forms of depression in the western countries," says Dr Parikh.
"We cannot be sure what mobiles phones etc do and their effects may differ. This suggests at least that we should look," says Prof Berk.
In another study done this year on the impact of standard mobile exposure on 18 children, 10-12 years of age, it was noticed that there was a tendency for reaction time to be shorter during exposure to microwave radiation. Further, the scientist involved in the study were of the opinion that effects of radiation from a GSM handset could be different from a analogue handset.
So what do the studies done so far on mobile devices' effects say? They are inconclusive and that's the way the mobile manufacturers would like to see them.

Following is an article from irishhealth.com reported by Sylvie in France about an Austalian study! I have not heard about this study but here is what the Irish are saying about it.
While we are on the topic, about a year ago I had the opportunity to ask Yuri Grigoriev, chairman of the Russian National Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (RNCNIRP) about the possibility that cell phone use by teenagers may be linked to a rise in teenage depression. He verified that this was a known problem from their understanding.

An electromagnetic ’smog’ from mobile phones and electronic goods could be contributing to depression, according to a new study.
The study, carried out on nearly 70,000 people in Australia between 1968 and 2002, supports the hypothesis that a person’s mood can be influenced by disturbances in the electromagnetic field in our environment and that this can affect our mental health.
Man-made disturbances in the electromagnetic field are those caused by power distribution grids and electrical devices, such as microwaves and mobile phones.
The researchers said suicide rates increased during ‘geomagnetic storms’ during the years covered by the study.
They found that blood pressure was shown to increase significantly for males and females when there was an increase in geomagnetic activity.
A positive trend was also noticed between geomagnetic activity and subjective psycho-physiological complaints.
Some commentators, however, feel the results of the Australian study are inconclusive and that there is not enough evidence to date that magnetic field exposure is a cause of depression or suicide.

The relationship between ambient electromagnetic fields and human mood and behaviour is of great public health interest. The relationship between Ap indices of geomagnetic storm activity and national suicide statistics for Australia from 1968 to 2002 was studied. Ap index data was normalised so as to be globally uniform and gave a measure of storm activity for each day. A geomagnetic storm event was defined as a day in which the Ap index was equal to or exceeded 100 nT. Suicide data was a national tally of daily male and female death figures where suicide had been documented as the cause of death. A total of 51 845 males and 16 327 females were included. The average number of suicides was greatest in spring for males and females, and lowest in autumn for males and summer for females. Suicide amongst females increased significantly in autumn during concurrent periods of geomagnetic storm activity (P = .01). This pattern was not observed in males (P = .16). This suggests that perturbations in ambient electromagnetic field activity impact behaviour in a clinically meaningful manner. A female, mid sixties, had experienced bouts of depression over a number of years which were attributed medically to her disturbed sleep and personal problems. Though she had an aversion to drug therapy anti-depressants seemed the only solution, to which she resorted from time to time. Learning of EMR health effects she took steps to remove EMR from her bedroom with subsequent pleasing results in quality of sleep, lack of depression, general wellbeing, improved energy levels. Three years later circumstances necessitated a change in household arrangements that once again exposed her to the original levels of EMR. Over the next 8 –10 weeks this woman experienced a distinct lowering of energy and wellbeing and a deepening depression the cause of which she could not discern. She lost interest in life and found it extremely difficult to start the day. Recalling her information on EMR she once again removed EMR from her sleeping area which resulted in her mood and depression lifting and a return to a cheerful manner and regaining an interest in her activities. Over a period of 10 days or so this lady experienced a gradual return to a depression-free healthier frame of mind.
Following are a few references linking depression and EMF/R where electromagnetic field therapy was used in treating Parkinson’s Disease. (PD) (Ref.1) Some success has been achieved in treating the tremours of PD with EMF under controlled conditions with therapeutically administered doses at specific frequencies. These conditions are quite unlike those where random exposures to EMF have adverse effects on people, as their testimony reveals. Dr Sandyk’s study reveals a number of neuropsychiatric diseases including depression , which are influenced by environmental cues, including magnetic fields.

EMF influences on depression
Following is an article from irishhealth.com reported by Sylvie in France about an Austalian study! I have not heard about this study but here is what the Irish are saying about it.
While we are on the topic, about a year ago I had the opportunity to ask Yuri Grigoriev, chairman of the Russian National Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (RNCNIRP) about the possibility that cell phone use by teenagers may be linked to a rise in teenage depression. He verified that this was a known problem from their understanding.

An electromagnetic ’smog’ from mobile phones and electronic goods could be contributing to depression, according to a new study.
The study, carried out on nearly 70,000 people in Australia between 1968 and 2002, supports the hypothesis that a person’s mood can be influenced by disturbances in the electromagnetic field in our environment and that this can affect our mental health.
Man-made disturbances in the electromagnetic field are those caused by power distribution grids and electrical devices, such as microwaves and mobile phones.
The researchers said suicide rates increased during ‘geomagnetic storms’ during the years covered by the study.
They found that blood pressure was shown to increase significantly for males and females when there was an increase in geomagnetic activity.
A positive trend was also noticed between geomagnetic activity and subjective psycho-physiological complaints.
Some commentators, however, feel the results of the Australian study are inconclusive and that there is not enough evidence to date that magnetic field exposure is a cause of depression or suicide.

Mobile phone “smog” could be aiding depression

NEW DELHI: Concerns expressed on possible effects of mobile phones on humans have been dismissed by people involved in the business, but a recent research suggests that the electromagnetic “smog” from mobile phones and electronic goods could be playing a role in aiding depression.
In a study done in Australia pertaining to the period between 1968 and 2002, the researchers came to the conclusion that the suicide rates increased during geomagnetic storms, triggered by solar flares during these years.
“The sample was huge, involving 51,845 males and 16,327 females between 1968 and 2002. It would be useful to replicate this again; we did a previous study and found similar results. This suggests that electromagnetic radiation does affect behaviour,” says Prof Michael Berk, Department of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences, University of Melbourne, Australia.
The study by Prof Berk came in support of the hypothesis that mood, and indeed suicidal thoughts, can be influenced by disturbances in the electromagnetic field in our environment and may have an adverse impact on mental health.
Man-made disturbances in the electromagnetic field are those caused by the power distribution grid and electrical devices. It is here that the day to day devices like microwave ovens and mobile devices that emit magnetic fields come into the picture.
According to Prof Berk, two previous, but less comprehensive studies had also shown a positive relationship between geomagnetic storm activity and an increased incidence of suicide.
Blood pressure was shown to increase significantly for males and females when there was an increase in geomagnetic activity. A positive trend was also noticed between geomagnetic activity and subjective psycho-physiological complaints.
On the connection between mobile phones and depression, doctors are sceptical. “Depression is a psychiatric disorder and I am sure in 99 per cent case, it is the case. This is not seasonal as the study suggests,” says Dr. Samir Parikh, a Consultant Psychiatrist here. “Magnetic field exposure is not a sufficient cause of depression or suicide,” he says. “Moreover, electromagnetic radiation is not always dangerous. Extremely high frequencies of electromagnetic waves (EHF-therapy) are used by doctors to treat various forms of depression in the western countries,” says Dr Parikh.
“We cannot be sure what mobiles phones etc do and their effects may differ. This suggests at least that we should look,” says Prof Berk.
In another study done this year on the impact of standard mobile exposure on 18 children 10-12 years of age, it was noticed that there was a tendency for reaction time to be shorter during exposure to microwave radiation. Further, the scientist involved in the study were of the opinion that effects of radiation from a GSM handset could be different from a analogue handset.

The relationship between ambient electromagnetic fields and human mood and behaviour is of great public health interest. The relationship between Ap indices of geomagnetic storm activity and national suicide statistics for Australia from 1968 to 2002 was studied. Ap index data was normalised so as to be globally uniform and gave a measure of storm activity for each day. A geomagnetic storm event was defined as a day in which the Ap index was equal to or exceeded 100 nT. Suicide data was a national tally of daily male and female death figures where suicide had been documented as the cause of death. A total of 51 845 males and 16 327 females were included. The average number of suicides was greatest in spring for males and females, and lowest in autumn for males and summer for females. Suicide amongst females increased significantly in autumn during concurrent periods of geomagnetic storm activity (P = .01). This pattern was not observed in males (P = .16). This suggests that perturbations in ambient electromagnetic field activity impact behaviour in a clinically meaningful manner. A female, mid sixties, had experienced bouts of depression over a number of years which were attributed medically to her disturbed sleep and personal problems. Though she had an aversion to drug therapy anti-depressants seemed the only solution, to which she resorted from time to time. Learning of EMR health effects she took steps to remove EMR from her bedroom with subsequent pleasing results in quality of sleep, lack of depression, general wellbeing, improved energy levels. Three years later circumstances necessitated a change in household arrangements that once again exposed her to the original levels of EMR. Over the next 8 –10 weeks this woman experienced a distinct lowering of energy and wellbeing and a deepening depression the cause of which she could not discern. She lost interest in life and found it extremely difficult to start the day. Recalling her information on EMR she once again removed EMR from her sleeping area which resulted in her mood and depression lifting and a return to a cheerful manner and regaining an interest in her activities. Over a period of 10 days or so this lady experienced a gradual return to a depression-free healthier frame of mind.
Following are a few references linking depression and EMF/R where electromagnetic field therapy was used in treating Parkinson’s Disease. (PD) (Ref.1) Some success has been achieved in treating the tremours of PD with EMF under controlled conditions with therapeutically administered doses at specific frequencies. These conditions are quite unlike those where random exposures to EMF have adverse effects on people, as their testimony reveals. Dr Sandyk’s study reveals a number of neuropsychiatric diseases including depression , which are influenced by environmental cues, including magnetic fields.

I have taken the liberty of forwarding an announcement received from Assoc. Prof. Olle Johansson in Sweden that his (and colleagues) request for funding re EMF and Childhood Leukaemia has been denied. This is truly "a tragic setback" toward prevention of childhood Leukaemia!!!!
To date, I have not received a response to my pleas for help to fund Dr. Olle Johansson through your Charity regarding studies that will prove the link to childhood Leukaemia by scientists from the prestigous Karolinska Institute.
Children With Leukaemia does an excellent job of fundraising re treatments and hospitals for children with Leukaemia. Imagine the hope your Charity can give to persons in Britain as well as around-the-world when you are finally able to release information to the public that the Karolinska Institute has confirmed the link between childhood Leukaemia and bedside EMF/EMR exposures!!!
An additional study by your own Dr. Dennis Henshaw, re the type of exposures that will promote pre-Leukaemic blood changes that are also "markers for irradiation," -- i.e., chronic, prolonged exposure to an electric clock, a fan, an electric meter, power supply box for cordless phone, etc.would then give the Charity a sound basis (replication of a study or studies by a scientist or scientists from the highly esteemed Karolinska Institute by one of your own EMF Scientific Project Managers) for providing precautionary information to the public and will, in turn, leave little doubt as to the importance as it pertains to prevention of childhood Leukaemia.
"Specific studies" re "inflammatory markers" after nightime, chronic, prolonged exposures will confirm the drastic blood changes that occurred in my two grandsons (rare immune) as well as the equally devastating blood changes that were identified in my two separate guinea pig studies that are precursors of Leukaemia. As you know, "electric meters" in the case of my grandsons as well as guinea pigs caused severe health effects but equally important from the standpoint of issuing flyers/news releases, etc. from the Charity, the boys "improved" after being moved away from electric meters (powerwalls) and the guinea pigs "improved" (those that did not die in 30 days, that is) after being moved away from "powerwalls."
The type of study and/or studies that Assoc. Prof. Olle Johansson has agreed to do will replicate findings re my grandsons as well as a study mentioned in the book, "Blood" by Dr. Robert Becker and Dr. Andrew Marino (Louisiana State University). That study was on guinea pigs exposed to EMF/EMR and yielded exact blood results as those identified in my guinea pigs -- severe neutropenia and lymphocytosis. These are "precancerous blood changes" -- the same changes that occurred in my guinea pigs.
Funding to Assoc. Prof. Olle Johansson through your Charity will allow you to make recommendations to those you are trying to help throughout the U.K. to not only prevent many instances of childhood Leukaemia, but also to help save those children who may return home while undergoing chemotherapy that they must move electrical items/devices from close proximity to beds.
Mrs. Bonnie Boyum, Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, USA, has given me permission to share that her son, Michael Boyum, who unfortunately lost his battle with Leukaemia over five years ago, had an electric clock and a fan behind his head. It is my hope that the breakthrough I mention will one day allow me to offer scholarships in Michael's name to honor his life and to acknowledge Bonnie Boyum's courage and willingness to share painful but "vital information!"
As I have indicated in previous letters and emails, information as I describe, if provided to the public, will not only reduce many cases of childhood Leukaemia, but will also help many persons get better sleep, reduce asthma, allergies, learning disorders including ADD and ADHD, and has the potential of providing "improvement" for virtually any health problem including Diabetes, Parkinsons, Multiple Sclerosis, Lou Gehrig's Disease, brain cancer and all other health problems. For those who are unknowingly sleeping close to electrical appliances/devices, I consider this to be "a preventable crisis!!!"
I believe the "positive results" will have a "rebound effect" that will inspire many more persons to contribute to Children With Leukaemia thereby allowing for more funds to treat the suffering. This is definitely a "win/win situation!!!"

I have taken the liberty of forwarding an announcement received from Assoc. Prof. Olle Johansson in Sweden that his (and colleagues) request for funding re EMF and Childhood Leukaemia has been denied. This is truly "a tragic setback" toward prevention of childhood Leukaemia!!!!
To date, I have not received a response to my pleas for help to fund Dr. Olle Johansson through your Charity regarding studies that will prove the link to childhood Leukaemia by scientists from the prestigous Karolinska Institute.
Children With Leukaemia does an excellent job of fundraising re treatments and hospitals for children with Leukaemia. Imagine the hope your Charity can give to persons in Britain as well as around-the-world when you are finally able to release information to the public that the Karolinska Institute has confirmed the link between childhood Leukaemia and bedside EMF/EMR exposures!!!
An additional study by your own Dr. Dennis Henshaw, re the type of exposures that will promote pre-Leukaemic blood changes that are also "markers for irradiation," -- i.e., chronic, prolonged exposure to an electric clock, a fan, an electric meter, power supply box for cordless phone, etc.would then give the Charity a sound basis (replication of a study or studies by a scientist or scientists from the highly esteemed Karolinska Institute by one of your own EMF Scientific Project Managers) for providing precautionary information to the public and will, in turn, leave little doubt as to the importance as it pertains to prevention of childhood Leukaemia.
"Specific studies" re "inflammatory markers" after nightime, chronic, prolonged exposures will confirm the drastic blood changes that occurred in my two grandsons (rare immune) as well as the equally devastating blood changes that were identified in my two separate guinea pig studies that are precursors of Leukaemia. As you know, "electric meters" in the case of my grandsons as well as guinea pigs caused severe health effects but equally important from the standpoint of issuing flyers/news releases, etc. from the Charity, the boys "improved" after being moved away from electric meters (powerwalls) and the guinea pigs "improved" (those that did not die in 30 days, that is) after being moved away from "powerwalls."
The type of study and/or studies that Assoc. Prof. Olle Johansson has agreed to do will replicate findings re my grandsons as well as a study mentioned in the book, "Blood" by Dr. Robert Becker and Dr. Andrew Marino (Louisiana State University). That study was on guinea pigs exposed to EMF/EMR and yielded exact blood results as those identified in my guinea pigs -- severe neutropenia and lymphocytosis. These are "precancerous blood changes" -- the same changes that occurred in my guinea pigs.
Funding to Assoc. Prof. Olle Johansson through your Charity will allow you to make recommendations to those you are trying to help throughout the U.K. to not only prevent many instances of childhood Leukaemia, but also to help save those children who may return home while undergoing chemotherapy that they must move electrical items/devices from close proximity to beds.
Mrs. Bonnie Boyum, Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, USA, has given me permission to share that her son, Michael Boyum, who unfortunately lost his battle with Leukaemia over five years ago, had an electric clock and a fan behind his head. It is my hope that the breakthrough I mention will one day allow me to offer scholarships in Michael's name to honor his life and to acknowledge Bonnie Boyum's courage and willingness to share painful but "vital information!"
As I have indicated in previous letters and emails, information as I describe, if provided to the public, will not only reduce many cases of childhood Leukaemia, but will also help many persons get better sleep, reduce asthma, allergies, learning disorders including ADD and ADHD, and has the potential of providing "improvement" for virtually any health problem including Diabetes, Parkinsons, Multiple Sclerosis, Lou Gehrig's Disease, brain cancer and all other health problems. For those who are unknowingly sleeping close to electrical appliances/devices, I consider this to be "a preventable crisis!!!"
I believe the "positive results" will have a "rebound effect" that will inspire many more persons to contribute to Children With Leukaemia thereby allowing for more funds to treat the suffering. This is definitely a "win/win situation!!!"
