Haben Sie Schlafprobleme? Ist Ihr Mann ein extremer Schnarcher? Elektrosmog in den eigenen vier Wänden könnte schuld daran sein.
Nicht nur Handys und Mobilfunkantennen verursachen Elektrosmog. Auch Haarföhn, Fernseher, Radios, Lampen und Stromkabel bauen in der Wohnung elektrische und magnetische Wechselfelder auf. Die Menschen nehmen diese elektrischen Felder wie eine Antenne auf und stehen deswegen buchstäblich unter Spannung.
«Das ist besonders dann der Fall, wenn die Menschen keinen Kontakt zum Boden haben, zum Beispiel im Bett», sagt Elektrosmog-Spezialist Josef Peter von der Firma MPA Engineering in Effretikon ZH. Peter misst und saniert seit Jahren mit Elektrosmog belastete Wohnungen. «Wir prüfen neben der Stärke des elektrischen Felds immer auch die Körperspannung.»
Im Körper bewirken die Felder künstliche Wirbelströme, Stromflüsse sowie Zell- und Nervenreize. «Der Elektrosmog greift in biologische Prozesse ein und verändert sie», sagt Peter. Das bekam auch Elisabeth Kiefer aus Volketswil ZH zu spüren: «Ich hatte massive Schlafprobleme. Zudem litt ich unter hohem Blutdruck und musste dagegen Medikamente nehmen», sagt sie.
In Kiefers Schlafzimmer mass Peter eine elektrische Feldstärke von 7 Volt pro Meter; der von Baubiologen und Medizinern empfohlene Höchstwert liegt bei 0,1 Volt. Kiefers Körper stand mit über 7000 Millivolt unter Spannung – 350fach über dem Richtwert von 20 Millivolt.

Die Europäische Union stellte bereits 1997 fest, dass Menschen auf Elektrosmog mit verschiedensten Symptomen reagieren: unter anderem mit Schlafproblemen, Hautausschlägen, Hormon- und Nervenstörungen, Verdauungs- und Herz-Kreislauf-Beschwerden sowie Augen- und Ohrenproblemen. Und die Weltgesundheitsorganisation schrieb im Februar 2003: «Das Phänomen der Elektrosensibilität ist klar anerkannt.»
Bewusst wahrnehmen können Menschen indes nur einen kleinen Bereich des elektromagnetischen Spektrums: Wärme und Licht. Handys und Schnurlostelefone senden mit digitalen elektromagnetischen Wellen. Zu Hause gilt es auch zu unterscheiden zwischen elektrischen Feldern, die als Folge der elektrischen Spannung von Geräten entstehen, und magnetischen Feldern infolge fliessenden Stroms.
Wenn der Handwerker nicht erdet
Elektrische Felder sind in der Lage, sich meterweit auszudehnen. Laut Elektrosmog-Spezialist Josef Peter sind die Verursacher oft versteckt. Die Felder entstehen wegen der elektrischen Spannung von Kabeln in Wänden, Leitungen und Steckdosen. «Und zwar auch dann, wenn Geräte eingesteckt, aber ausgeschaltet sind. Ich habe Häuser untersucht, in denen ganze Böden unter Spannung standen», sagt Peter. Ursache seien Geräte und Leitungen, die von Hand- oder Heimwerkern falsch installiert oder nicht geerdet worden sind.

Fight for an idea: The ELECTROMAGNETIC POLLUTION - Combat pour une idée: La pollution électromagnétique

Topic: In the middle of the Sixties Doctor Maschi becomes aware of the existence of a new form of pollution which it names ELECTROMAGNETIC POLLUTION.
For this general practitioner of Nice, this pollution, due to the proliferation, in the industrialized countries, of the machines, the apparatuses producing or using electricity, causes slow and progressive electrocution of the human organisms and plays a significant role in the diseases known as of civilization: rheumatic, cardiac, neurological affections. It then develops therapeutic consistent in councils of general hygiene to avoid the electric aggressions and in local applications of minerals, identical to those used since centuries in the thermal spas.&nb! sp; Since 1967 it makes follow this treatment to rheumatics and patients reached of multiple sclerosis. Very quickly the results exceed the éspérances of the doctor. In 1968, when he wants to provide to the Medical Authorities explanations on this pollution and his therapeutic, its troubles start. They will of theinvolve it in an adventure out commun run which, lasting nearly thirty years, will oppose it to the Council of Odre Doctors and to the Ministry for Health. In this book, Doctor Maschi gives explanations, easy to include/understand, on electromagnetic pollution, his therapeutic and the multiple sclerosis. He tells also the principal adventures of his business, evoked many times by the whole of the French press since 1968, and does not hesitate to reproduce very many documents blaming by name a hundred people: eleven Ministers for Health, the Advisers of the Order of the Doctors, the Adviser's of State, Professors de Médecine, the politicians. Throughout these years, the doctor was savagely defended by his patients, satisfied to follow therapeutic without danger, very easy to use and not very expensive. This "lived testimony" provides the proof that it is not easy to make recognize a new scientific idea which, all at the same time, blames part of our living conditions and medical theories classically allowed. It is a true cry of alarm launched by Doctor Maschi against electromagnetic pollution because, being colourless, odourless, soundproof, impalpable and painless it can touch all the inhabitants of the industrialized countries, without them realizing there, its effects being felt only after several years of exposure.

The history of Josep Oriol Badell seems removed from comic of Marvel, but is real. And specially it lasts. He is 55 years old and has been suffering a disease very little well-known, denominated electromagnetic hypersensitivity, that has taken him to undertake one crossed in solitaire after defending its rights.
In the 2003 he presented/displayed a demand of labor incapacitacion that the Court of Social number 2 of Barcelona misestimated May past year. The sentence, nevertheless, recognizes the existence of his disease: "The judge affirms that I suffer electrosensibility, but in a moderate degree that, according to the failure, allows me to work. Considering which I began of zero, convincing almost my family, it is a very significant advance ", explains Badell, that has resorted to the Superior Court of Catalunya. An unbearable life, simple exhibition during minutes to the electromagnetic fields, that create the mobile televisions, household-electric or telephones causes from tremors and states of tachycardia, hypertension and insomnia to him. "There are moments that in my life which are unbearable", he affirms. The daily actions can become, in his case, a hell: "I have to speak on the telephone to half meter of distance of the earpiece. I cannot lead and in the bus I have to request that they extinguish the conditioned air and the fluorescent". But still there is more: "I do not hold to walk at night under the lampposts and when I arrive at house I have to extinguish all the electrical apparatuses and to hope to that the neighbor lets see his tele to be able to sleep". When he undergoes a crisis few alternatives have left to the margin to hope or "to go to the next beach and to bury the hands and the feet in the sand. I feel as if it was unloading to me ", he indicates. Since the problems began he has changed six times the house -- now he lives in Barceloneta -- and not even finds lightening in the field: "I have a house in a town on a hill, but it is surrounded by antennas of mobile telephony and I only can conciliate the dream within the warehouse". This last point is, he assures, the cause of his nightmare: "Everything began when they installed antennas that were located to the same height of my room. Other neighbors, and even my woman, suffer since then different diseases ", he assures.
His disease is recognized by the World-wide Organization of Health (WHO), but in Spain only exist two or three credited cases. He condemned his way of the cross of visits without success to doctors and specialists until knowing doctor Fernandez Solà, resident of the Clínic Hospital of Barcelona. The treatment past diagnosed the disease month to him of April and it applied a treatment that allows him to live a little better: "I continue having problems, but from day to day it is more bearable. Even so nobody has been able to still assure if it is or not a chronic ailment ". Sweden is the only country of the world where sentences in favor of the labor incapacitacion by electrosensibility has been dictated. Badell wants to lay way in Spain and to create jurisprudence. "I look for more affected, since some people suffer the same but, before the ignorance of the doctors, they do not know it. When we are more, more force we will do ".
