Welcome to Bush World, which now threatens to swallow up our entire culture: the more mistakes you've made, the more often you've been entirely wrong, and the more grievous the results of actions you've recommended in the past, the more qualified you are to make policy decisions in the future. Being wrong about everything of consequence is the new admission ticket to 'serious' debate. If you've been right -- and, which is infinitely worse, if you have arguments and facts to demonstrate that you've been right -- you are not welcome. And you're not 'serious.' And one other inescapable conclusion presents itself at this point: the faux-'libertarians' who periodically proclaim that they are just so anxious for a 'serious' and 'realistic' debate about foreign policy with non-interventionist libertarians want nothing of the kind...
