Rhode Island school districts have been put on notice that they must clarify their policies regarding military recruitment in schools. NBC 10's Kelley McGee reported that a provision in the No Child Left Behind Act gives military recruiters access to student information unless their parents sign a form that allows students to opt out of the process. This form is supposed to be sent home with every student, but a recent survey of Rhode Island schools by the American Civil Liberties Union found otherwise.
