One out of four working families are on the edge of economic ruin. That's what Bob Herbert reports, based on a new study to be released next week by the Annie E. Combined with statistics showing corporate profits are at record highs and that 67 percent of Americans feel the American dream is out of reach, it's becoming clear we need to rethink our economic engine.
