Nature is a humbling force: the next Great War will be the terror delivered by Nature

From: ecetiwebmaster
Subject: Global Warming

I have watched the spin on Global Warming down playing it as a cycle that will go away soon, nothing to worry about. They boast we will rebuild, even better. The only structure safe for the hurricane ravaged areas is a submarine. What they are not telling you about Global Warming is the dynamics. It is a grand cycle which is aggravated by humanity and the air pollution, "Greenhouse effect", created by humanity. The sun is continuing to expand; it is hitting the Earth over and over with CMEs and Solar Flares. This is creating unstable weather, tornadoes, hurricanes and pressure on the fault lines as well. The Earth is overheating and the heat is creating pressure which has to be released through earthquake and volcanic activity. There are thousands of undersea volcanoes that are presently heating up the oceans. Remember those aquarium heaters; just imagine tossing a few extras into the aquarium. The warm waters are generating massive storms, hurricanes and tornadoes. Add the solar activity which generates more unstable weather and you have the dynamics for disaster. The ionosphere is super charged, the Earth as well is acting like a giant capacitor. This also will generate storms with unprecedented lightning activity.

This is not going to decrease, it is going to increase and despite some very arrogant leaders who did not learn from the Titanic, Nature is a humbling force. I would not recommend rebuilding unless on higher ground and using new technologies that can withstand the onslaught of Nature. Personally I would have a water tight dome with a submarine door.

But wait there is more to the story. Our heliosphere is glowing at the leading edge as our solar system moves through the universe. The planets are all undergoing atmospheric changes each emitting up to three times more light. This as well is creating change on every level. The magnetic fields are fluctuating as these massive solar flares and coronal mass ejections sweep across the planets. This affects our bio electric fields around the human body. Stanford Research showed that moneys when subjected to changes in the magnetic fields exhibited behavior from comatose to self mutilation. This might explain our current leadership which seems to be missing a few oars out of the water. Or is it just greed?

Our present path is unsustainable yet they are determined to stay the course and refuse to allow fueless energy, frequency healing technologies, and choose peace. The main reason is it is bad for business. I think environmental collapse is bad for business. Food shortages are bad for business. Rampant disease and plagues are bad for business; war is not in the highest and best good of anyone. Unless of course you are in a position of capitalizing on the continuation of burning toxic gas emitting fossil fuels, the continuation of disease and war all of which our leadership is heavily invested in. To make it plain and simple they are capitalizing at the expense of humanity and the Earth. Owning the media as well is why you are getting the spin on all is well, this will pass, it is all natural and soon it will be business as usual. The Earth is liken to the Titanic and we need a new captain and crew if we are going to steer clear of that which is to come. It is time to implement the fueless energy technologies, allow the new healing technologies to come forward, choose peace and work together because the next Great War will be the terror delivered by Nature. Is Nature intelligent? Have we assaulted her on every front? Is there a reaction to actions against humanity and nature? This is a question for every soul to contemplate.

Be well

We Can't Say We Weren't Warned

by Richard Steiner

In the week before Hurricane Katrina struck, the U.S. government was busy insisting on the deletion of a simple phrase from the general principles of the United Nations -- "Respect for Nature." History may now look on Katrina as the perfect storm that ended, once and for all, such anthropocentric arrogance.

The scale of the Katrina tragedy offers a painful portal into our very heart and soul, the way we think about ourselves, one another and our world. In the rubble of homes and lives and businesses, Katrina provides a potent teachable moment for society.

The evolutionary success of Homo sapiens as a species depended on our ability to learn and to act on that knowledge. When we recognized a threat -- predators, weather, lack of resources, etc. -- we learned to act to avoid or prepare for it. In this context, Katrina has much to teach.

First, prepare for the worst. It is a historic, national disgrace that we did not do better. Katrina was a well-predicted flood disaster, a well-predicted storm and, to those observers of government bureaucracies, a well-predicted failure of government altogether.

Next, prevent disaster to the extent possible. A decade ago, Louisiana's "Coast 2050" plan recognized that a century of flood control on the Mississippi was shrinking the wetlands, bayous, barrier islands and the entire delta of our nation's greatest river, and, if left uncorrected, would with certainty lead to catastrophe. It was not a "0.5 percent probability" as the Army Corps of Engineers is now claiming. It was a certainty.

Scientists proposed a straightforward $14 billion pre-emptive fix to the problem -- build canals and floodgates in the south bank of the river in New Orleans and periodically open them to allow the river and its millions of tons of sediment to flush onto the delta, rebuild barrier islands, thus protecting the coast from inundation in future storm events. This would take decades, but the sooner it begins, the sooner the area will be protected.

The threat was perfectly clear, the solution was perfectly clear, yet government did nothing. To officials, these warnings were typical of "environmental alarmists" and government had other more immediate priorities. When Katrina hit, this government attention deficit came tragically due.

Herein may lie our potential evolutionary downfall -- our modern inability to act decisively and cooperatively to avert certain disaster.

In this way, Katrina may provide -- in fast-forward microcosm -- a vision of the very future of Homo sapiens itself. The transcendent lesson of this perfect storm may be that the natural environment is ignored only at our own peril. As Katrina swept away lives and life-support systems on the Gulf Coast, the tragedy may give focus to the deteriorating condition of the essential environmental services the planet provides for the health and welfare of all 6.5 billion of us -- air, freshwater, food, shelter, energy, medicines, nutrient recycling, waste processing, enjoyment, etc.

History is littered with fallen civilizations that ignored their deteriorating environmental condition -- the Anasazi, Maya, Greenland Norse, Easter Islanders, etc. And like Exxon Valdez, Chernobyl and Bhopal, Katrina will now take its place in history as one of the seminal, time-compressed disasters that provide an overnight glimpse of the long-term degradation of the life-support systems of our home planet.

On this larger issue, the science is perfectly clear. We are dangerously degrading our biosphere, and for decades policy-makers have been warned of the dire consequences of ignoring this systemic environmental decline. As with New Orleans, we are all living on borrowed time. We are rapidly approaching a planetary tipping-point from which there will likely be no recovery. But just as with Katrina, governments have ignored warnings of global ecological collapse as well. How much longer can we afford such shortsighted, selfish ignorance?

In Greek mythology, Cassandra was bestowed the power to foretell the future but no one would believe her. She warned of a Trojan Horse, to no avail. The rest, as they say, is history.

Will we as a society learn from this perfect storm, reaffirm our "respect for nature" and attend to our deteriorating planetary life-support systems before it's too late, or not?

The disaster and future fallout from the “Katrina” catastrophe will be with us for months to come

EARTH CHANGES TV NEWSLETTER

ECTV Adds Special “Hurricane Katrina” Page

by Mitch Battros – ECTV

The disaster and future fallout from the “Katrina” catastrophe will be with us for months to come. As a result, we have added a special “Hurricane Katrina” page to our website. It is on the left side menu. I have made this free to all. There is much to learn from what has happened; it very well may be a blueprint for events to come.

Katrina Link: http://www.earthchangestv.com/hurricanekatrina.php

I have spent the last 10 years in preparing myself, and through Earth Changes TV, my national and world community for the times we have entered. It has been told to us by our ancestors and passed down from generation to generation. The one harmonious message passed on by almost every ancient tribe from the beginning is… “change will come, and you will be different”. They knew of natural rhythmic cycles that came before them, and will be here after we are gone. Simply put, it is the rhythm of life. The Hopi’s speak of the end of the 5th World. The Mayan Calendar tells us of the time of transition (December 21st 2012). The Bible tells us of ‘Revelation’ in the end times. The Egyptians tell us of “Ra” (Sun) to return in the later years. The Aztecs show in their calendar a center glyph of the Sun with its tongue hanging out. This is translated to say “In this time, the! Sun will speak to us”.

I know some of you would like to think we humans are all powerful (at least in our present state of being) to change the rhythm (or cycle) of nature….Wrong. We are nothing but a flea at the end of a lion’s tail. Yes, you can make a strong argument that man is intended to rise above the angels; I cannot argue this. It is believed by many that an angel, as mighty and blessed as they are, will never be more than an angle. But for us humans, we have the capacity “to rise above the angles”. Most religions and spiritual paths affirm this knowledge. The principle of “ascension” crosses many beliefs, from Buddhism to Catholicism, to Hinduism, to Egyptians, to Countless indigenous tribes. But I think we can all agree, collectively we’re still pretty far from utilizing our higher potential.

Many disasters have been in our past, many disasters are still ahead. I suggest to you we should not fear the disaster itself, but our reaction to such disasters. Do your current actions and beliefs reflect the wisdom of our ancestor’s message… “change will come, and you will be different”. This statement empowers us to choose if the time of transition will be a painful one, or an enlightening journey. Have you taken the necessary actions of basic preparedness in your personal, spiritual, and community life?

THE VERY REAL THREAT OF MULTIPLE CATASTROPHE IS KNOCKING AT OUR DOOR

1. ANY medical services will be so overloaded just taking care of the critically ill & dying, that the chance of getting ANY medical treatment is going to be slim to none.

2. We may have NO means of even getting TO a doctor due to the very real possibility of the declaration of martial law.

3. You MUST be able to treat yourself & family in times of disaster --- there may be NO other resources available.

4. Remember: even the common flu can turn into pneumonia which if untreated CAN KILL YOU!!

5. What appears to be a minor injury can also kill you if infection sets in & YOU DO NOT HAVE THE MEANS TO TREAT IT!

FOLKS WAKE UP -- THE VERY REAL THREAT OF MULTIPLE CATASTROPHE IS KNOCKING AT OUR DOOR!!! PLEASE, PLEASE TAKE HEED & GET WHAT YOU NEED TO KEEP YOU & YOURS ALIVE & HEALTHY!!!

Mary, I'm reading back over this post you made back on 7/26 and a chill is running up my spine. Yes, you were preaching to the choir here...but maybe someone shared this email with someone who listened and is now sitting warm and dry in a motel room somewhere with a full belly rather than at the Convention Center in New Orleans starving to death.

Thanks for your post Mary. Peace - Anna

Storm blogs offer Katrina insight
BBC News [UK]
08/31/05

The web has once again proved its worth as a news source as blogs offered a vivid description of the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. As the storm carved a path through southern US, weblogs provided first-hand accounts of those affected. Mainstream media outlets in New Orleans found the web an invaluable asset as their offices were flooded. Web tracking firm Technorati reported that seven of the top 10 search terms were hurricane-related on Tuesday. According to internet measurement firm Keynote Systems, some websites were unable to cope with demand for Katrina-related news. Wikipedia, the user-generated net encyclopaedia, provided video coverage of the hurricane and regularly updated reports on the storms history and effects...

Blogs from the Inside

The convention center is next to the Mississippi River. Many people who are sleeping there feel that a boat is going to come and get them. Or they think a bus is going to come. But no buses have come. No boats have come. They think water is going come. No water has come. And they have no food.

As we drove by, people screamed out to us -- "Do you have water? Do you have food? Do you have any information for us?"

We had none of those.

Probably the most disturbing thing is that people at the convention center are starting to pass away and there is simply nothing to do with their bodies. There is nowhere to put them. There is no one who can do anything with them. This is making everybody very, very upset.
