Silent March for the Innocent Victims of War - January 20, 2005
My name is Michael McNamara. I am with The United World Federation http://www.theunitedworldfederation.org
We are organizing a world-wide day of action/rallies/marches for January 20, 2005, which co-incidentally happens to be the day of George Bush's inauguration to his second term in office.
The theme is Silent March for the Innocent Victims of War. We will be marching for those who cannot because they have been killed and for those who have been injured, displaced or otherwise violated and sacrificed for the aspirations of greed in its many forms.
My goal is to have participation from 10,000 cities, towns and villages and one billion people throughout the world.
January 20th is an opportunity to send a undeniable message to the world leaders about the unacceptability of war and its consequences to the innocent victims whose welfare is less than secondary to the objectives of those who propogate warfare for their own interests.
Please consider calling upon your organization and community to send an urgent message to stop the aggression against our defenceless innocent fellow citizens. To register your city, town or village go to http://www.theunitedworldfederation.org and click on Go to Silent March.
Together we all can make the difference!
Yours truly and at your service...
