This election season, we are reminded of the Roman god Janus, the two-faced deity. One face, call it "prima facie," is compassionate conservatism. But the other, well, it reminds us of Lord Voldemort. It's the side that pays companies to disenfranchise voters as they register (Sproul & Associates) and as they vote (Diebold), while systematically waging war on wage-earners, the environment and Muslims. Thanks, Paul, for giving us the chance to rant. (NYTimes , free reg. req'd.)
