September 15, 2005 - In testimony delivered today to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Leadership Conference on Civil Rights (LCCR) Executive Director Wade Henderson announced that - after having reviewed John Roberts available record, testimony, and answers provided during the hearings this week - LCCR has no choice but to oppose the confirmation of Roberts to chief justice of the United States.
