FEMA's Brown resigns? So what?

... FEMA Director Mike Brown has resigned his post after being replaced by a Vice Admiral of the Coast Guard to carry out recovery efforts in the Hurricane Katrina disaster area. What a shock. Brown, as you will recall, was made to stand in front of a firing squad of news cameras, as Department of Homeland Security boss Chertoff announced he'd be replaced with the 'other guy,' the Coast Guard Vice Admiral standing to Chertoff's left. I don't think I can recall a more unjust and humiliating thing to do to a person like Mike Brown, and it goes to further justify my absolute conviction that President George W. Bush and his advisors are some of the most vicious human beings who ever graced this planet, let alone lead this nation. They don't care who they hurt, so long as it makes them look good...
