A mobile phone company is to remove a controversial mast from a block of flats dubbed the 'Tower of Doom', after seven residents were struck down by cancer.
Three residents have died and another four are battling the deadly disease since two masts were erected on the roof of the five-storey block.
Cancer rates on the top floor - where five of the eight flats have been struck, including the three deaths - is ten times the national average.

Just awful...and how many more are there? We hear of plenty and we know there are hundreds around masts...just what is really out there?

Orange 'Killer' Mast Removed
Here is one you might be interested in circulating, asking people to comment "an masse" as a couple of the readers letters are so stupid and impertinent and there is no compassion for the sick, suffering people in the "tower of doom".
I found a couple of the comments so "grosse" that I commented on them, and I guess the industry must be on weekend since my comment was allowed. But see for your self.
