One World Democracy
Well, I took Rob Davis's advice and attended the book signing of 'One World Democracy' last Friday night here in Asheville. One of the authors, Byron Belitsos gave a great talk and I got a copy for myself. The other author, Jerry Tetalman was not present.
I was thrilled to meet Rob and his very lovely wife there, as well as some very lovely friends of theirs.
So far, I have only read the Preface of the book and I'm so impressed with it that I'm going to write it here to give you all a taste of it, as you might want to order a copy for yourselves. It's a little long, but not too. Here goes, enjoy! Your Friend, Debralee

This book is an introduction to the greatest political transformation in history--the democratic revolution to create enforceable global law.
This epochal change in human affairs will put an end, once and for all, to the war system that is the greatest scourge facing mankind.
In this revolution, ordinary people will take control of this planet from those who foment war and profit from war, and who permit environmental destruction.
This will be a movement of optimists and visionaries, those who are ready to seize the opportunity to reinvent our world, ready to leave behind the cynics whose only contribution is to maintain the status quo.
In this movement, world peace is not a vague and utopian goal--but a practical, enduring peace that is acheived through world laws that are passed by democratic world legislature, interpreted by world courts, and enforced by a global government that represents all of humanity, high and low, north and south, black and white.
We truly can create "the parliment of the world, the government of mankind" as the English poet Tennyson prophetically envisioned in the nineteenth century. The time for this historic task is upon us, now in the tweny-first century.
This global peace and justice movement is already well under way. Worldwide demostrations like the historic "global day of protest" against the US invasion of Iraq on Febuary 15, 2003 are just one sign.
Yet something more than rejectionism is needed from our progressive leaders. These times require a positive and practicle vision for how to solve international conflicts; how to relieve global poverty; and how to end the physical destruction of our preciuos planet.
We therefore ask you to imagine a world peace movement focused on making the United Nations, or some successor, into a truly representative government for all humanity.
Imagine a global legislature or world parliment whose first order of business is the abolition of war.
Envision a world court whose routine work is to apply global law to individuals, rather than punishing entire nations for the crimes of their leaders.
Visualize a planetary bill of rights that is zealously guarded, and a constitutional balance of power that prevents excesses by any branch of the world government.
Reflect on the satisfaction of living peacefully under the rule of global law where there is -less- government, -lower- taxes, -better- distribution of resorces, -no- nuclear weapons, -open- borders, - less- environmental destruction, -no- imperial domination, -no- military-industrial complex, -more- security, -more- justice for labor and minorities--and a global renaissance in the arts, science, religion, and culture.
And imagine yourself a part of this, the greatest political movement ever to occur.
We the people of planet earth are the sovereigns of our destiny; if we stand together, we can build a just and democratic government of humankind that will abolish war forever, and work together with all nations to solve the other pressing problems facing our fragile planet. It really can be that simple--and that exhilarating.
This book is directed especially at progessives and visionary leaders in all walks of life who care deeply about global justice, reduction of poverty worldwide, and the protection of the planet's environment--but especially those who are working for world peace.
In our view, today's world peace movement is too often marked by a naive utopianism that confuses human nature with angelic nature. Angels can live in peace without law and government--but humans cannot. In our all-too-human world, peace without justice is an illusion--an uneasy truce until the next war comes along, such as the intractable Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Global justice, we argue, is simply not achievable without the establishment of law by an elected legislature in combination with judicial institutions that interpret and apply the law. And courts of law are almost useless without enforcement mechanisms-- the notorios impotence of the UN being a case in point. Those who aspire for world peace really have no choice but to work for the achievement of enforcable global law.
"There is no peace without justice, no justice without law, and no law without government"--according to the formula of the United World Federalists of the late 1940's. The decades since then have only affirmed the truth of this old activist slogan. A great day is coming when the world's peace movement and social justice progressives will once again embrace this crucial syllogism; and that is the day when we will become empowered to end war and ecocide. Only then will there be an end to the military dominance of America and a genuine solution to terrorism. Only then can we really tackle the dauntiing problems of global pollution and grinding poverty.
Let us use the twenty-first century to create the end of war--not the end of humankind. To abolish war we will need enforceable global law-- the expansion of civilization to a planetary scale. This book invites you on a lifelong journey to the achievement of plantary peace and prosperity. Let's get there by working to build one world democracy.

Nuisance Animals Killed in U.S.Program

As many of you may already know, the USDA has a viscious animal-hating division, "wildlife services" and, fortunately, the New York Times recently ran a quick blurb on how this department, Orwellian-named "Wildlife Services" is killing MILLIONS of animals. I'm attaching the article, but -- dave (and friends) - is there any way you can post the contact information where people who see your web page can call the USDA and protest? (Ps. included in the recent Wildlife Survey was a recommendation to kill a minimum of 9,000 NYC pigeons)

The program is the responsibility of Wildlife Services, an Agriculture Department program. "Lethal means is something that we do as a final resort," said a Wildlife Services spokesman, Dan Perry.
Mr. Perry said the department helped landowners and others take measures to keep creatures out.

Remove All Torturers from Power
Scott Galindez writes that the Bush administration and those who support the Iraq war frequently justify it by saying that Saddam Hussein tortured his people. They say that Iraq is better off without him. He agrees that Saddam needed to go, but with the reports from Abu Graib and other US-run prisons, it is clear that the Iraqi people are still being tortured.

I recently sent another batch of material to George Young. I enclosed a personal letter yet again covering issues of health, energy resources, ICNIRP and the responsibilities of local / national government. I also wrote about Agnes' dilemma (she has a copy of that). I didn't expect much by way of a reply, so was pleased to receive the following :

It makes a powerful case for a review of the planning regulations, and I have sent a copy of your letter to Yvette Cooper, the Minister for Planning, to see whether the Government has any plans to review their guidance in the light of the evidence that you refer to.
I will let you know how I get on.
I am not sure whether we have a debate at the main Party Conference on this, but I am pretty sure it will be raised at one of the many fringe meetings.

Angesichts einer "Kostenexplosion" bei der Arbeitsmarktreform "Hartz IV" plant Bundeswirtschaftsminister Wolfgang Clement (SPD) offenbar verstärkte Hausbesuche und Anrufaktionen. Nach dem Plan soll offenbar vor allem kontrolliert werden, ob Leistungsbezieher in eheähnlichen Verhältnissen wohnen und daher von ihrem Partner unterstützt werden müssten. Außerdem sollen die Behörden die Daten aller Arbeitslosengeld-II-Bezieher in einer Telefonaktion überprüfen. Auch ein Datenabgleich mit den Finanzämtern und verschärfte Kontrollen der Arbeitsbereitschaft durch Trainingsprogramme mit Anwesenheitspflicht seien geplant, berichteten die "Berliner Zeitung" und das Nachrichtenmagazins "Focus". The neurological department is completely exloding with people
I don't know how it is in the Netherlands or other countries, but I do know that at least in one of Haifa's hospitals, people with neurological problems are sent to other departments because the neurological department is completely exloding with people complaints on symptoms, this has never been in the past, as I was told by one of the nurses.
In one hospital in Tel Aviv there are 4 floors of parking lot only for people going to chemotherapy, and oncologists informed to the public through newspapers (two months ago) that if there wouldn't be additional radiations equipments in hospitals soon, then they would have to send people abroad to do the radiations.

This sounds a really good development. The information circulated in terms of a cloud with very different signal structures is a very sound reminder that it isn't just the amount that matters, and that it is different from all the other sources. We are constantly told that mobile phone masts can't be bad because so much other radiation is TV, radio, taxis etc. (Operators here delight in taking measurements and showing phones as a few spikes in a very wide spectrum.)
More important is the reminder on responsibility. I still press the argument on "the ethics of doubt": in so many other matters, even slight doubts with such potential consequences drive greater response. But now I gather in the UK the argument is "cost per life", a principle governing the WHO "precautionary approach". It's all OK so long as not too many people die as a result.
And who decides the price of life, the acceptable number? Today our Parliament debated the issue of assisted suicide for people dying in the greatest distress and pain. One of our leading bishops argues forcefully that no life can be taken in any circumstance, and that even the person themselves cannot decide on life. Yet here we have church steeples with masts and antennae transmitting this slow killer, and it is OK so long as too many people do not die.
Yes, an international European group with the same message, the senior scientists with their collective doubts, and real pressure on ethics and responsibility. Maybe more as-yet uninformed people would respond to the force of a European movement. Maybe economies of scale would enable our resources to achieve more.

You used to be able to count on 'up' being 'down,' 'black' being 'white,' 'yes' meaning 'no' and of course, their opposites, but not any more. I have to be amazed at the condemnation of the way all levels of government had responded in the aftermath of the breaching of the government-made levees in New Orleans. ... I think we have recently been witness to not one, but two terrific examples of government disaster response working perfectly -- exactly as designed. In the 9-11 instance we have found out that inter-agency turf wars and petty squabbles kept fairly precise information forewarning the devilish deed from moving into the hands of anyone who would investigate further and/or act upon it. ... In New Orleans, we find that sheer stupidity combined with corruption and complacency led to the disastrous consequences that filled the news hour, until the propaganda media used the onslaught of Rita to wipe New Orleans right off the front page and into the recesses of the public's collectivist mind...

Vodafone-Sprecherin Tanja Vogt betonte, dass ihr Unternehmen derzeit keinen konkreten Standort für eine Mobilfunksendeanlage im Auge habe. Auch seien bisher keine Gespräche mit Haus- oder Grundstücksbesitzern geführt worden. Vodafone plant im kommenden Sommer eine UMTS-Sendeanlage in Bad Zwesten zu errichten.
Die ursprünglich für den 14. Oktober geplante Bürgerversammlung findet nicht statt, teilte Bürgermeister Michael Köhler mit. Zunächst soll ein unabhängiger Gesundheitsexperte über das Thema Strahlenbelastung und Mobilfunk informieren. Anschließend soll das Thema bei einer Bürgerversammlung diskutiert werden. Auf dem Podium sollen dann Vertreter aller beteiligten Gruppen zu Wort kommen dürfen.
Termine dafür ständen jedoch noch nicht fest. Laut Köhler bemüht sich die Gemeinde, die Terminkalender der Referenten möglichst schnell mit einander abzugleichen. Beide Veranstaltungen sind für November geplant.
Kontakte zu unabhängigen Experten stellte unter anderem die Bürgerinitiative her. "Die BI hat uns ihre Hilfe angeboten", berichtete Köhler. Gerne würde die Gemeinde von den fachkundigen Informationen profitieren.

A ROW could break out between a church and its primary school over plans to erect a mobile phone mast on top of the church tower.
Fund-raisers fighting to save the crumbling tower at St Thomas Parish Church in St Annes thought their prayers had been answered when a bid by mobile giant Orange was recommended to be approved.
But Ted Dempsey, acting headteacher at St Thomas Primary School, today voiced concerns over health fears surrounding the masts. He said: "Obviously our main concern and interest is for the health and safety of the children. We are currently taking advice on any issues that this could present for us or if it could harm our pupils. "The problem has been discussed at a meeting of the school governors and it was decided we needed to seek guidance on the matter.
"We are a church school and of course we want to support the church. However, we have to first consider the health and safety of pupils."
Health groups have raised concerns about the safety of mobile masts in recent years but there has been no firm evidence to prove the transmitters are dangerous.
St Thomas Parish Church, which was built more than 100 years ago, has battled for eight years to find a way of keeping the tower after stonework became eroded and unsafe and the tower had to close. Last year, the fund-raisers thought they had hit a dead end after being turned down for a Heritage Lottery Grant and applied to demolish the tower.
But the plan was met with concern from residents and the demolition plans were rejected by Fylde Council, which wanted the landmark preserved.
Earlier this year, a company representing mobile telephone giant Orange approached the church with the offer of placing a mast on top of the tower – effectively paying for the £260,000 cost of the upgrade work through an upfront fee and an annual rent.
The Rev Peter Law-Jones, the vicar at St Thomas, said: "I understand people have concerns, but I hope people understand we are acting in good faith for the good of the church and the community.
"We have taken our own advice and have been told that because of the height of the church tower the impact would be non-existent. "This will hopefully secure the future of the church, which, if it were to close, would be a massive loss to the community."

Microwave Cooking is Killing You

Microwave cooking is one of the most important causes of ill health. It is certainly one of the most ignored.
There was a lawsuit in 1991 in Oklahoma. A woman named Norma Levitt had hip surgery, but was killed by a simple blood transfusion when a nurse "warmed the blood for the transfusion in a microwave oven!"
Logic suggests that if heating is all there is to microwave cooking, then it doesn't matter how something is heated. Blood for transfusions is routinely warmed, but not in microwave ovens. Does it not therefore follow that microwaving cooking does something quite different?
A little evidence of the harm caused by microwaving cooking was given by the University of Minnesota in a radio announcement:
"Microwaves ... are not recommended for heating a baby's bottle. The bottle may seem cool to the touch, but the liquid inside may become extremely hot and could burn the baby's mouth and throat... Heating the bottle in a microwave can cause slight changes in the milk. In infant formulas, there may be a loss of some vitamins. In expressed breast milk, some protective properties may be destroyed.... Warming a bottle by holding it under tap water or by setting it in a bowl of warm water, then testing it on your wrist before feeding, may take a few minutes longer, but it is much safer".
There have been very few scientific studies done on the effect of eating food microwaved food. This is rather surprising when you think about the fact that microwaves have been with us for only a few decades - and that in that time the incidence of many diseases has continued to increase.
Two researchers, Blanc and Hertel, confirmed that microwave cooking significantly changes food nutrients. Hertel previously worked as a food scientist for several years with one of the major Swiss food companies. He was fired from his job for questioning procedures in processing food because they denatured it. He got together with Blanc of the Swiss Federal Institute of Biochemistry and the University Institute for Biochemistry.
They studied the effect that microwaved food had on eight individuals, by taking blood samples immediately after eating. They found that after eating microwaved food, haemoglobin levels decreased. "These results show anaemic tendencies. The situation became even more pronounced during the second month of the study".
Who knows what results they would have found if they had studied people who ate microwaved food for a year or more?
The violent change that microwaving causes to the food molecules forms new life forms called radiolytic compounds. These are mutations that are unknown in the natural world. Ordinary cooking also causes the formation of some radiolytic compounds (which is no doubt one reason why it is better to eat plenty of raw food), but microwaving cooking causes a much greater number. This then causes deterioration in your blood and immune system.
In addition, they found that the number of leucocytes increases after eating microwaved food - something which haematologists take very seriously, because this is often a sign of highly harmful effects, such as poisoning.
Also, after eating microwaved food, cholesterol levels increased. Hertel said "Common scientific belief states that cholesterol values usually alter slowly over longer periods of time. In this study, the markers increased rapidly after the consumption of the microwaved vegetables." He believes his study tends to confirm new scientific data that suggest cholesterol may rapidly increase in the blood secondary to acute stress. "Also," he added, "blood cholesterol levels are less influenced by cholesterol content of food than by stress factors. Such stress-causing factors can apparently consist of foods which contain virtually no cholesterol - the microwaved vegetables."
The results were published in "Search for Health" in the Spring of 1992. How was this research greeted? A powerful trade organisation, the Swiss Association of Dealers for Electroapparatuses for Households and Industry somehow made the President of the Court of Seftigen issue a `gag order'. Hertel and Blanc were told that if they published their findings they would face hefty fines or up to one year in prison. In response to this, Blanc recanted his findings. Hertel, on the other hand, went on a lecture tour and demanded a jury trial.
FINALLY, in 1998 the Court `Gag Order' was removed. In a judgment delivered at Strasbourg on 25 August 1998 in the case of Hertel v. Switzerland, the European Court of Human Rights held that there had been a violation of Hertel's rights in the 1993 decision. The Court decided that the `gag order' prohibiting him form declaring that microwaved food is dangerous to health was contrary to the right to freedom of expression. In addition, Switzerland was sentenced to pay compensation of F40,000.
In Summary: Blanc and Hertel found that eating microwaved food:
* Increases cholesterol
* Increases white blood cell numbers
* Decreases red blood cell numbers
* Causes production of radiolytic compounds (compounds unknown in nature)
RUSSIANS BAN MICROWAVE OVENS
After the World War II, the Russians also experimented with microwave ovens. From 1957 up to recently, their research has been carried out mainly at the Institute of Radio Technology at Klinsk, Byelorussia. According to US researcher William Kopp, who gathered much of the results of Russian and German research - and was apparently prosecuted for doing so (J. Nat. Sci, 1998; 1:42-3) - the following effects were observed by Russian forensic teams:

As a result microwave ovens were banned in Russia in 1976; the ban was lifted after Perestroika.
Standing in front of a microwave is also highly damaging to your health. Perhaps you have already felt this intuitively? We know that cells explode in the microwave - just fry an egg in your microwave. We are made up of trillions of cells. So work out how many are getting damaged if you stand in front of your microwave for 5-10 minutes.
In the past I had been told that it was important for people to stop eating microwaved food, but I did not pay too much attention to this because I had been microwave cooking for years. I never thought much about it but I suppose that I figured that if something was so bad for us, then there wouldn't be so many people using it. Little did I know.
When I first began seeing clients for sessions of kinesiology, I did not worry too much about telling them to give up eating microwaved food. However, I kept a record of all of the corrections that were needed for each client when they came in. Now, once a correction is made, it is to be hoped that the correction will stay in place for a long time to come, hopefully months if not years. People often ask me "How long will it last?" May answer to them is "That depends on your lifestyle".
Most of my clients came back to see me after about two weeks. In the early days I found that many who came back were not much better. I found that they were again `out of balance'. That is, their electrical circuits were not working correctly (which is common for many people). It was therefore not surprising that they were not much better, because the body does not begin to fully fix itself until the electrical circuits are in balance.
The question was, why did their electrical circuits go out of balance? The answer had to be something that was highly stressful, to effect the body in such a short space of time. Once that answer was remedied, the client would begin to get better. Using muscle testing, I went through the process of testing if the cause was electrical, chemical/nutritional, emotional or structural. Again and again the same answer would come up - electrical. When I then went through a range of possible electrical causes, the same answer again came up again and again - the person had eaten microwaved food! Incidentally, this answer never came up when a person had NOT eaten microwaved food.
I began to tell all of my clients on the first visit that under NO circumstances were they ever to do microwaved cooking again. I gave this a higher priority than any of things that are normally considered as health risks, such as cigarettes or alcohol. Immediately I began to get a marked improvement in the results I was getting. Long term problems such as headaches, back aches and emotional instability went away within a few weeks.
Other kinesiologists can confirm these results. David Bridgman, who has years of experience as a kinesiologist, said "Of all the people I test for allergies, 99.9% so far show severe sensitivity to any microwaved food".
I experienced the effect of eating microwaved food for myself one time. I had been doing quite a lot of kinesiology and feeling on top of the world when for no apparent reason I began to feel rather `grey' and rather low. I realised that I needed a balance from a kinesiologist. Sure enough, I was out of balance. When the kinesiologist used muscle testing to see why my body had gone out of balance, the answer came up ... microwaved food! The trouble was, I couldn't remember eating any. Until I remembered a particular vegetarian restaurant I had been to. When I went back to the restaurant and asked them if they microwaved their food, they told me that they did.
So be warned! Many restaurants use microwaved cooking, even `health' restaurants. Ask if the "steamed vegetables" are in fact steamed - or are they microwaved? I have sent meals back when they have not been what they were described on the menu, much to the surprise of the restaurant owners.

As a seventh grade student, Claire Nelson learned that di(ethylhexyl)adepate (DEHA), considered a carcinogen, is found in plastic wrap. She also learned that the FDA had never studied the effect of microwave cooking on plastic-wrapped food. Three years later, with encouragement from her high school science teacher, Claire set out to test what the FDA had not.
Although she had an idea for studying the effect of microwave radiation on plastic wrapped food, she did not have the equipment. Eventually, Dr. Jon Wilkes at the National Center for Toxicological Research agreed to help her. The research center, which is affiliated with the FDA, let her use its facilities to perform her experiments, which involved microwaving plastic wrap in virgin olive oil.
Claire tested four different plastic wraps and "found not just the carcinogens but also xenoestrogen was migrating [into the oil]...." Xenoestrogens are linked to low sperm counts in men and to breast cancer in women. Throughout her junior and senior years, Claire made a couple of trips each week to the research center, which was 25 miles from her home, to work on her experiment. An article in Options reported "her analysis found that DEHA was migrating into the oil at between 200 parts and 500 parts per million. The FDA standard is 0.05 parts per billion."
Her summarized results have been published in science journals. Claire Nelson received the American Chemical Society's top science prize for students during her junior year and fourth place at the International Science and Engineering Fair (Fort Worth,Texas) as a senior. Microwave cooking is one of the most important causes of ill health. It is certainly one of the most ignored.
There was a lawsuit in 1991 in Oklahoma. A woman named Norma Levitt had hip surgery, but was killed by a simple blood transfusion when a nurse "warmed the blood for the transfusion in a microwave oven!"
Logic suggests that if heating is all there is to microwave cooking, then it doesn't matter how something is heated. Blood for transfusions is routinely warmed, but not in microwave ovens. Does it not therefore follow that microwaving cooking does something quite different?
A little evidence of the harm caused by microwaving cooking was given by the University of Minnesota in a radio announcement:
"Microwaves ... are not recommended for heating a baby's bottle. The bottle may seem cool to the touch, but the liquid inside may become extremely hot and could burn the baby's mouth and throat... Heating the bottle in a microwave can cause slight changes in the milk. In infant formulas, there may be a loss of some vitamins. In expressed breast milk, some protective properties may be destroyed.... Warming a bottle by holding it under tap water or by setting it in a bowl of warm water, then testing it on your wrist before feeding, may take a few minutes longer, but it is much safer".
There have been very few scientific studies done on the effect of eating food microwaved food. This is rather surprising when you think about the fact that microwaves have been with us for only a few decades - and that in that time the incidence of many diseases has continued to increase.
Two researchers, Blanc and Hertel, confirmed that microwave cooking significantly changes food nutrients. Hertel previously worked as a food scientist for several years with one of the major Swiss food companies. He was fired from his job for questioning procedures in processing food because they denatured it. He got together with Blanc of the Swiss Federal Institute of Biochemistry and the University Institute for Biochemistry.
They studied the effect that microwaved food had on eight individuals, by taking blood samples immediately after eating. They found that after eating microwaved food, haemoglobin levels decreased. "These results show anaemic tendencies. The situation became even more pronounced during the second month of the study".
Who knows what results they would have found if they had studied people who ate microwaved food for a year or more?
The violent change that microwaving causes to the food molecules forms new life forms called radiolytic compounds. These are mutations that are unknown in the natural world. Ordinary cooking also causes the formation of some radiolytic compounds (which is no doubt one reason why it is better to eat plenty of raw food), but microwaving cooking causes a much greater number. This then causes deterioration in your blood and immune system.
In addition, they found that the number of leucocytes increases after eating microwaved food - something which haematologists take very seriously, because this is often a sign of highly harmful effects, such as poisoning.
Also, after eating microwaved food, cholesterol levels increased. Hertel said "Common scientific belief states that cholesterol values usually alter slowly over longer periods of time. In this study, the markers increased rapidly after the consumption of the microwaved vegetables." He believes his study tends to confirm new scientific data that suggest cholesterol may rapidly increase in the blood secondary to acute stress. "Also," he added, "blood cholesterol levels are less influenced by cholesterol content of food than by stress factors. Such stress-causing factors can apparently consist of foods which contain virtually no cholesterol - the microwaved vegetables."
The results were published in "Search for Health" in the Spring of 1992. How was this research greeted? A powerful trade organisation, the Swiss Association of Dealers for Electroapparatuses for Households and Industry somehow made the President of the Court of Seftigen issue a `gag order'. Hertel and Blanc were told that if they published their findings they would face hefty fines or up to one year in prison. In response to this, Blanc recanted his findings. Hertel, on the other hand, went on a lecture tour and demanded a jury trial.
FINALLY, in 1998 the Court `Gag Order' was removed. In a judgment delivered at Strasbourg on 25 August 1998 in the case of Hertel v. Switzerland, the European Court of Human Rights held that there had been a violation of Hertel's rights in the 1993 decision. The Court decided that the `gag order' prohibiting him form declaring that microwaved food is dangerous to health was contrary to the right to freedom of expression. In addition, Switzerland was sentenced to pay compensation of F40,000.
In Summary: Blanc and Hertel found that eating microwaved food:
* Increases cholesterol
* Increases white blood cell numbers
* Decreases red blood cell numbers
* Causes production of radiolytic compounds (compounds unknown in nature)
RUSSIANS BAN MICROWAVE OVENS
After the World War II, the Russians also experimented with microwave ovens. From 1957 up to recently, their research has been carried out mainly at the Institute of Radio Technology at Klinsk, Byelorussia. According to US researcher William Kopp, who gathered much of the results of Russian and German research - and was apparently prosecuted for doing so (J. Nat. Sci, 1998; 1:42-3) - the following effects were observed by Russian forensic teams:

This week, former UN chief weapons inspector, Scott Ritter, compared George Bush and Tony Blair to Nazi war criminals saying that, 'Both of these men could be pulled up as war criminals for engaging in actions that we condemned Germany in 1946 for doing.'
Bush's veto removes any doubt about the veracity of Ritter's comments."

In my last two interviews, one with Dr. Peter Olson, Geophysicist from Johns Hopkins University , and Dr. Nicola Scafetta, Applied Physicist from Duke University has sparked my curiosity to apply an additional direction to my published “Equation”.
Still, the Sun is no doubt the origin of all interactive play. (at least in our solar system, but this will be explained in my book “Cosmic Rain” due out late spring.). The Sun is the triggering mechanism for a causal chain reaction to what happens on our home planet. One might say for all planets…in our solar system. What I have been learning lately is what slower acting, but perhaps far more powerful effect the Sun has on the Earth’s core. What we all agree upon (myself and my distinguished guest Dr. Olson and Dr. Scafetta) is the Sun is the primary cause for our climate and weather. It is pronounced and almost instantly in active effects. But what is going on below is far more powerful but disguises in a stealthy slow moving mannerism. The old story of the frog in the slowly heating pot comes to mind.
Although most of our scientific equipment is pointed towards the sky (satellites, telescopes etc,) to measure the Sun’s activity and its effect on our magnetic field, ionosphere, stratosphere, and as of late our “weather” (see equation), not much has been disclosed or known about what lies beneath our feet. So lets take a closer look.

In very much the same way as lightning strikes, so does the Earth’s highly charged core. Did you know when we think we see a lightning bolt hitting Earth; it is actually met with a matching bolt from the ground shooting upward? That’s’ right. A lightning bolt rises from the ground and meets a lightning bolt from the sky up to several hundred feet in the air. With this understanding, and upon Dr. Olson’s studies of the Earth’s core, mantle and crust, I am suggesting the solar flares, CME’s, and various space emitted charged particles, having a similar “reverse charge” in the same manner as lightning bolts. More on this later, but first let’s take a look at what is the “South Atlantic Anomaly”.
South Atlantic Anomaly
Earth is surrounded by a close-to-spherical magnetic field, the magnetosphere. According to what we know today, it is being generated by dynamo action in the Earth's interior where conducting liquid metals are kept in motion by the forces of convection (heat exchange), coriolis, and gravitation, and just as the charged windings in the coil of a dynamo generate a magnetic field when moved, these masses create the Earth's magnetic field. Without it, our compasses wouldn't work, there would be no northern lights (auroras), and it protects us from space radiation by deflecting high energy particles from deep space or by capturing them in the so-called Van Allen Belts. Of these, discovered by the first US satellite, Explorer 1, in 1958, there are two, one closer, the other farther away, and both surround the Earth like a doughnut.
Unfortunately, at a certain location over the South Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Brazil, the shielding effect of the magnetosphere is not quite spherical but shows an unusual distortion, which scientists explain as a result of the eccentric displacement of the center of the magnetic field from the geographical center of the Earth (by 280 miles) as well as the displacement between the magnetic and geographic poles of Earth. This is to say Magnetic North is not consistent with Geographical North. At times this area becomes very unstable and “bounces” kilometers apart. But there is more to this “unpredictable” monolithic anomaly than many in the science community had ever known…until now.

We were first alerted to this problem early this morning when several locals in Austin reported that they were unable to access Infowars.com, PrisonPlanet.com or Prison Planet.tv.
Austin Time Warner had previously shut down access to our websites on a whim, claiming they were 'hate material' but in all cases had quickly restored them after receiving complaints.
However, this latest attack on free speech is occurring nationwide, with Time Warner subscribers from New York to California reporting that their access to the websites is being blocked.
The last attempt to shut us down came

This is an example of the inane and sweeping nature of these filtrations systems and the blanket idiocy applied to these cases.
We are urging all our readers (not that you will even be able to read this if you subscribe to Time Warner!) to boycott any Time Warner/Road Runner ISP service and cancel your subscription with them. They have proven themselves time and time again to be an anti-American freedom hating tool of the establishment.

The Avian Flu and Drugless Doctors
BBC carried an article on 5 February titled "1918 killer flu secrets revealed" which tells us that the scientists claim to now have figured out that 50 million people were killed by a virus that "jumped from birds to humans".
Obviously this is to prepare us for a "killer epidemic", something that is supposed to hit any time now, be it this winter or the next or the one after that.
Jon Rappoport found the most interesting analysis of the 1918 flu disaster, in a book by Eleanor McBean. And if you haven't heard of drugless doctors yet, here's the place where you'll meet them.
THE FLU: 1918 AND NOW
FEBRUARY 7, 2004. You may have noticed that researchers are now saying they have analyzed the virus that caused the 1918 global pandemic of flu. They are linking it to a bird virus, which stirs the pot on the current flap about avian flu in Asia.
The PR goes this way: If this current bird virus mutates just a little bit in the wrong direction, we could see a replay of the 1918 disaster.
Here is another analysis, written about 25 years ago by Eleanor McBean. This excerpt, from chapter two of her book, Vaccination Condemned, makes a quite different observation:
I WAS AN ON-THE-SPOT OBSERVER OF THE 1918 INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC
All the doctors and people who were living at the time of the 1918 Spanish Influenza epidemic say it was the most terrible disease the world has ever had. Strong men, hale and hearty, one day would be dead the next. The disease had the characteristics of the black death added to typhoid, diphtheria, pneumonia, smallpox, paralysis and all the diseases the people had been vaccinated with immediately following World War 1. Practically the entire population had been injected "seeded" with a dozen or more diseases — or toxic serumss. When all those doctor-made diseases started breaking out all at once it was tragic.
That pandemic dragged on for two years, kept alive with the addition of more poison drugs administered by the doctors who tried to suppress the symptoms. As far as I could find out, the flu hit only the vaccinated. Those who had refused the shots escaped the flu. My family had refused all the vaccinations so we remained well all the time. We knew from the health teachings of Graham, Trail, Tilden and others, that people cannot contaminate the body with poisons without causing disease.
When the flu was at its peak, all the stores were closed as well as the schools, businesses — even the hospital, ass the doctors and nurses had been vaccinated too and were down with the flu. No one was on the streets. It was like a ghost town. We [who didn't taken any vaccines] seemed to be the only family which didn't get the flu; so my parents went from house to house doing what they could to look after the sick, as it was impossible to get a doctor then. If it were possible for germs, bacteria, virus, or bacilli to cause disease, they had plenty of opportunity to attack my parents when they were spending many hours a day in the sick rooms. But they didn't get the flu and they didn't bring any germs home to attack us children and cause anything. None of our family had the flu — not even a sniffle— and it wa was in the winter with deep snow on the ground.
It has been said that the 1918 flu epidemic killed 20,000,000 people throughout the world. But, actually, the doctors killed them with their crude and deadly treatments and drugs. This is a harsh accusation but it is nevertheless true, judging by the success of the drugless doctors in comparison with that of the medical doctors.
While the medical men and medical hospitals were losing 33% of their flu cases, the non-medical hospitals such as BATTLE CREEK, KELLOGG and MACFADDEN'S HEALTH-RESTORIUM were getting almost 100% healings with their water cure, baths, enemas, etc., fasting and certain other simple healing methods, followed by carefully worked out diets of natural foods. One health doctor didn't lose a patient in eight years. The very successful health treatment of one of those drugless doctors who didn't lose any patients will be given in the other part of this book, titled VACCINATION CONDEMNED, to be published a little later.
If the medical doctors had been as advanced as the drugless doctors, there would not have been those 20 million deaths from the medical flu treatment.
There was seven times more disease among the vaccinated soldiers than among the unvaccinated civilians, and the diseases were those they had been vaccinated against. One soldier who had returned from overseas in 1912 told me that the army hospitals were filled with cases of infantile paralysis and he wondered why grown men should have an infant disease. Now, we know that paralysis is a common after-effect of vaccine poisoning. Those at home didn't get the paralysis until after the world-wide vaccination campaign in 1918.

And there is a way. We are talking about something on a scale that can really make a huge change in this country and in the world. We need more than fighting Bush's outrages one at a time, constantly losing ground to the whole onslaught. We must, and can, aim to create a political situation where the Bush regime's program is repudiated, where Bush himself is driven from office, and where the whole direction he has been taking society is reversed. To that end, on November 2, the first anniversary of Bush's "re-election", we will take the first major step in this by organizing a truly massive day of resistance all over this country. People everywhere will walk out of school, they will take off work, they will come to the downtowns and town squares and set out from there, going through the streets and calling on many more to JOIN US. They will repudiate this criminal regime, making a powerful statement: "NO! THIS REGIME DOES NOT REPRESENT US! AND WE WILL DRIVE IT OUT!"
November 2 must be a massive and public proclamation that WE REFUSE TO BE RULED IN THIS WAY. November 2 must call out to the tens of millions more who are now agonizing and disgusted. Prevent a Bill Passing Regarding Forcing Us to Vaccinate
I encourage everyone to pick up the phone and call the U.S. Senators and let them know that we do not want this anti-American and anti-U.S. Constitution bill to pass and become law. This is an assault against every American and I encourage all of you to pick up the phone and let your voices be heard.
Vaccines are contanimated with toxic things like formaldehyde, which is commonly used to embalm corpses, and is a known carcinogen (capable of causing cancer), thiomersal, a derivative of mercury which is a toxic heavy metal, aluminium phosphate which is a toxin used in deodorants. Other toxic ingredients include phenol (carbolic acid), alum (a preservative), and acetone which is a volatile solvent used in fingernail polish remover.
I definately do NOT want to be forced to take things like this, do you? I would suggest calling your US Senator right now and expressing your opinion.
The bottom line is:
1) If the Burr bill passes, "all economic incentives to insure mandated vaccines are safe will be removed and the American people are facing a future where government can force them to take poorly regulated experimental drugs and vaccines labeled as "countermeasures" or go to jail."
2) BARDA The federal agency which will be in charge will be allowed: "to operate in secret, exempt from the Freedom of Information Act and the Federal AdvisoryCommittee Act, insuring that no evidence of injuries or deaths caused by drugs and vaccines labeled as "countermeasures" will become public."

WASHINGTON, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) is calling the "Biodefense and Pandemic Vaccine and Drug Development Act of 2005"(S. 1873), which passed out of the U.S. Senate HELP Committee one day after it was introduced "a drug company stockholder's dream and a consumer's worst nightmare." The proposed legislation will strip Americans of the right to a trial by jury if harmed by an experimental or licensed drug or vaccine that they are forced by government to take whenever federal health officials declare a public health emergency.
The legislation's architect, Senator Richard Burr (R-NC), Chairman of the HELP Subcommittee on Bioterrorism and Public Health Preparedness, told the full HELP Committee yesterday that the legislation "creates a true partnership" between the federal government, the pharmaceutical industry and academia to walk the drug companies "through the Valley of Death" in bringing a new vaccine or drug to market. Burr said it will give the Department of Health and Human Services "additional authority and resources to partner with the private sector to rapidly develop drugs and vaccines." The Burr bill gives the Secretary of DHHS the sole authority to decide whether a manufacturer violated laws mandating drug safety and bans citizens from challenging his decision in the civil court system.
The bill establishes the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Agency (BARDA), as the single point of authority within the government for the advanced research and development of drugs and vaccines in response to bioterrorism and natural disease outbreaks such as the flu.
BARDA will operate in secret, exempt from the Freedom of Information Act and the Federal AdvisoryCommittee Act, insuring that no evidence of injuries or deaths caused by drugs and vaccines labeled as "countermeasures" will become public.
Nicknamed "Bioshield Two," the legislation is being pushed rapidly through Congress without time for voters to make their voices heard by their elected representatives. Co-sponsored by Republican Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN), Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee Chairman Mike Enzi (R-WY), and Senate Budget Committee Chairman Judd Gregg (R-NH), the legislation will eliminate both regulatory and legal safeguards applied to vaccines as well as take away the right of children and adults harmed by vaccines and drugs to present their case in front of a jury in a civil court of law.
"It is a sad day for this nation when Congress is frightened and bullied into allowing one profit making industry to destroy the seventh Amendment to the Constitution guaranteeing citizens their day in court in front of a jury of their peers," said Barbara Loe Fisher, president of NVIC.
"This proposed legislation, like the power and money grab by federal health officials and industry in the Homeland Security Act of 2002 and the Project Bioshield Act of 2004, is an unconstitutional attempt by some in Congress to give a taxpayer-funded handout to pharmaceutical companies for drugs and vaccines the government can force all citizens to use while absolving everyone connected from any responsibility for injuries and deaths which occur. It means that, if an American is injured by an experimental flu or anthrax vaccine he or she is mandated to take, that citizen will be banned from exercising the Constitutional right to a jury trial even if it is revealed that the vaccine maker engaged in criminal fraud and negligence in the manufacture of the vaccine."
The federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is legally responsible for regulating the pharmaceutical industry and ensuring that drugs and vaccines released to the public are safe and effective. Drug companies marketing painkillers, like Vioxx, and anti-depressants, which have resulted in the deaths and injuries of thousands of children and adults, are being held accountable in civil court while the FDA has come under intense criticism for withholding information about the drugs' dangers from the public. Since1986, vaccine makers have been protected from most liability in civil court through the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act in which Congress created a federal vaccine injury compensation program (VICP) that offers vaccine victims an alternative to the court system. Even though the program has awarded nearly $2 billion to victims of mandated vaccines, two out of three plaintiffs are turned away.
"The drug companies and doctors got all the liability protection they needed in 1986 but they are greedy and want more," said Fisher. "And the federal health agencies want more power to force citizens to use vaccines without having to worry about properly regulating them. Flu Vaccine "Whistleblower" subjected to "Witch Hunt"

That vaccines can cause severe damage is a fact that is meticulously kept away from the population of most third world countries. In the developed countries it is an "open secret" with the governments and the medical system preferring to look the other way for reasons best known to them. The mercury lodges itself in the fat cells of the brain and cannot be eliminated by the body. Vaccines also contain aluminium, formaldehyde and other preservatives. The main ingredient is animal serum that is often contaminated. The vaccines are delivered directly into the bloodstream bypassing the body's natural defence system. Till date no detailed studies on the after effects of vaccinations has ever been carried out.
The fact that vaccines do cause damage is borne out by many court judgements in the USA forcing the government to create a vaccine damage fund to compensate the bereaved families who have lost their healthy children to vaccine shots. Many cases of infant deaths in the USA are now being reopened as anti vaccine lobbies composed of angry parents try to dig deeper into the muck. In the developing countries the governments are secure because protests over vaccines can be easily buried by medical jargon. There are numerous instances in India of children being affected by "polio like" diseases, "tuberculosis like" diseases after getting vaccinated. Such a case where the child population of entire villages have been affected by a polio like disorder after administration of the polio vaccine has surfaced in a village of Orissa and another village in the Medinipur district of West Bengal. The Orissa case was dealt with extensively by the Oriya TV channel OTV.
As the article reproduced below points out, autism and attention deficit related disorders in children can today be directly linked to vaccines. The medical authorities say "very few" children are adversely affected by vaccines. Try telling that to a mother who has lost her child.
The current avian flu scare will help vaccine manufacturers dispose off 30 million unutilised vaccines that were manufactured during the last scare but never utilised. In most countries vaccines have become mandatory with children receiving 10 to 12 jabs excluding booster shots. New vaccines are on the anvil for AIDS, though the link between AIDS and the small pox vaccine is rarely disputed. By next year a vaccine for crevical cancer, supposedly caused by the Human Papilloma Virus, will be ready. This cancer virus, to protect against a VD related cancer, will be given to children below the sexual maturity age. Medical experts say that this vaccine will "encourage" the manufacture of similiar vaccines for other types of cancer. It can be pointed out here that alternative therapies which do not support the virus theory have routinely helped cancer patients tide over the disease state.
What is never debated is whether vaccines are at all efficacious. We continue to see cases of tuberculosis, polio etc. despite massive vaccination drives. Diseases return with "morphed viruses" that have changed themselves with time. Recently the Hindustan Times carried a very brief news report on the protests of the anti vaccine lobby in India while commenting that their numbers were "very small". Obviously it will require a disaster of epic proportions before any corrective measures can be initiated.

EVERYBODY KNOWS MIERS IS NOTHING MORE THAN A CRONY
The Republican National Committee and the White House held a joint mobilizing conference call to rally their most extreme right wing supporters behind Harriet Miers, their "get out of conviction on appeal" free card. We have prepared a rush transcript. Here is a typically chilling quote:
"He and she [the president and Miers] both understand that if she were to get on the court, and she were to rule in ways that are contrary to the way the president would want her to approach her role as a justice, it would be a deep personal betrayal, and would be perceived as such both by him and by her." This is absolutely nothing more than a patently crony nomination, and is perceived by even its supporters as exactly that and being sold as such. It is a matter of the utmost urgency that you communicate to your senators that this nomination is not worthy of any consideration at all on that basis alone. As if our members of Congress had not sold the people so far down the river already, do we really need ANOTHER lockstep administration loyalist on our Supreme Court?
And leading the charge once again to give away the farm is Harry Reid, who said "I'm very happy we have someone like her." At least Neville Chamberlain didn't say how happy he was that Poland was invaded. Reid must be removed immediately from any leadership role, as he is now compromised beyond any possible redemption. We need someone who will STAND UP against these outrages, not a cheerleader for the other side. While we are opposing Miers we must also tell our senators that Reid has GOT TO GO as minority leader.

Have we not seen the disaster wrought by installation of hardcore administration cronies in positions of the highest responsibility? Must our Supreme Court go the way of New Orleans? There are many jobs in this world where you have to qualify to even GET a job interview. Surely a seat on our Supreme Court is one of them. Some say they need to hear what she has to say. That is just more of the same surrender babble, and is based on two false premises, that we don't ALREADY know where Miers stands, and that she will disclose anything meaningful under examination. There is nothing coming but another Roberts' style stonewall, and for all those reasons we say NO HEARING.
2) THE MAJORITY OF THE AMERICAN PUBLIC DEMAND A MODERATE
It's time to fight for what we really want on principle. It's time for those who would presume to represent us to take up that fight. And the American people will tolerate NO MORE extremist far right appointees to our Supreme Court. Every day Bush's popularity rating sinks to a new record low. It is only his totally corrupt party caucus, now with a temporary majority in the House of Representatives, that has prevented the initiation of impeachment proceedings already for his incompetence and malfeasance. We the people demand that any further nominees be no worse than true MODERATES. That's our position and we're sticking to it.
