RE: Open Letter to Dr. M. Chan, WHO Director-General
Cell phones have been reported to be dangerous if they are used for a long time, 10 years or more. The low frequency in cell phone signals affects biological system more than high frequency does. If you do not believe that cell phones or power lines are dangerous while you are concerned about citizens' health, please watch the CNN Larry King program at 6 PM PST (9 PM EST) on Tuesday (May 27). The background information is as follow.
Microwave News - Larry King will devote next Tuesday's
(May 27) show to a discussion on "Cell Phones: Are They Dangerous?" Among those scheduled to appear are Dr. Keith Black, the head of neurosurgery at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, George Carlo, who ran the wireless industry's health research project in the 1990s, and Louis Slesin, the editor of Microwave News. Black treated Johnny Cochran, OJ's attorney, who died of a brain tumor in 2005.
"There's a significant correlation between the side that one uses [a] cell phone on and the side that you develop the brain tumor on," Black told CNN's Sanjay Gupta three years ago."
