American media seems to go through periods of not reporting on US casualties in Iraq. For whatever reason -- other, more pressing stories such as Hurricane Katrina, or bloodier, more sensational event in Iraq itself come to mind -- these deaths simply go unmentioned or barely mentioned. Rational Review, on the other hand, has had continuing coverage of casualties in Iraq as a plank in its editorial policy since the beginning of the war. So, instead of to the media, let's go to the source: The US Army has thus far reported losing two soldiers killed in action on August 29th and one on the 30th.
