Some symptoms of exposure to radio-frequency radiation (aka ES aka radio wave sickness) Neurological: Headaches, dizziness, nausea, difficulty concentrating, memory loss, irritability, depression, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, weakness, tremors, muscle spasms, numbness, tingling, altered reflexes, muscle and joint paint, leg/foot pain, "Flulike" symptoms, fever. More severe reactions can include seizures, paralysis, psychosis and stroke. Owne...granddaughter "B," recognized symptoms of hair/fur loss as probably related to cage being close to TV which was on dresser next to hamster cage....

Radiation Sensitivity of Human Hair Follicles in SCID-hu Mice (p. 11)

Using an experimental model we developed to study the growth and epilation of the human hair follicle by implanting human scalp tissue onto immunodeficient C.B-17 scid/scid mice, we evaluated the effect of X irradiation on the function of human hair follicles. Our findings suggest that follicular stem cells that survive high-dose exposure in the sheath-like epithelial tissue can reproduce the complete follicle structure, and that our animal model can be used to assess the effects of radiation exposure on human skin and to identify and characterize human follicular stem cells.
