Florida Starts Microchipping Alzheimer Patients Despite Cancer Risks

by NWV News

"Opponents have many fears about this plan, among them that it could be the forerunner of a similar system for humans. The theory, circulated in blogs, goes like this: You test it on the animals first, demonstrating the viability of the radio frequency identification devices (RFIDs) to monitor each and every animal's movements and health history from birth to death, and then move on to people.".........

EU calls for urgent action on wi-fi radiation

9:45AM Sunday September 16, 2007

Europe's top environmental watchdog is calling for immediate action to reduce exposure to radiation from Wi-Fi, mobile phones and their masts.

It suggests that delay could lead to a health crisis similar to those caused by asbestos, smoking and lead in petrol.

The warning, from the EU's European Environment Agency (EEA) follows an international scientific review which concluded that safety limits set for the radiation are "thousands of times too lenient", and an official British report last week which concluded that it could not rule out the development of cancers from using mobile phones.

Cancer clusters found around mobile phone masts

By Sue Mueller

Sep 15, 2007 - 11:43:15 AM

Saturday September 15, 2007 (Foodconsumer.org) -- Phone masts have been linked to clusters of cancer and other serious health problems, raising fears that wireless technology may pose a risk to certain populations, timeonline.co.uk reported on April 22 this year.

According to the story, seven clusters of cancer and other serious illnesses such as brain hemorrhages and high blood pressure have been found within a radius of 400 yards of mobile phone masts.

Concerns prompt action over wi-fi

Sep 15 2007

by Steffan Rhys, Western Mail

THE first code of practice by a council in Wales relating to the use of wireless broadband in schools could be sanctioned on Monday as parents say they must be informed if a school is using technology which is “irradiating” children.

Wireless broadband, or wi-fi, enables computer users to access the internet without being connected to a cable and is estimated to be in use in more than half of primary schools and two thirds of secondary schools in the UK.

It has been described by the Department for Education and Skills as a “magical” system but scientists have increasingly said it emits radiation similar to that of a mobile phone mast, which has been linked to cancer and brain damage.

More bad news on the dangers of using cellphones

By Stuart Corner

Saturday, 15 September 2007

A massive study in the UK into the possible health effects of radiation from cellphones has been unable to rule them safe in the long term, and another international study has concluded that what are presently considered to be acceptable exposure levels to radio waves of all frequencies are too high and should be lowered.
