Alzheimer rate up 5% in 2005

Could the increase in age-adjusted Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease rate be caused by the microwave radiation of cell phones?

The CDC just released death data for 2005 http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/products/pubs/pubd/hestats/prelimdeaths05/prelimdeaths05.htm

In the highlights http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/07newsreleases/lifeexpectancy.htm they state:

The age-adjusted death rates for the seventh leading cause of death, Alzheimer's disease, and the 14th leading cause of death, Parkinson's disease, both increased approximately 5 percent between 2004 and 2005.

Alzheimer's was first described in 1906. The rate in the U.S. skyrocketed by a factor of ten between 1979 and 1986. The rate then leveled off for ten years before increasing again. Einer im Januar des Jahres veröffentlichten finnischen Studie zufolge kann ein langjähriger Gebrauch von Handys das Wachstum von bösartigen Hirntumoren fördern. Eine dänische Studie wiederum hatte im vergangenen Jahr das genaue Gegenteil herausgefunden. Franz Adlkofer berichtet über die neuesten und seine eigenen Forschungsergebnisse zur Frage, ob die vom Mobilfunk ausgehende Strahlung ein Risiko für die Gesundheit der Menschen darstellt. Ziel des Vortrags ist es, den Zuhörer über den gegenwärtigen Stand der Forschung so zu informieren, dass er sich ein eigenes Urteil bilden kann.
