[In Scandinavia, it is very common that newspapers have separate pages for such commentaries or debate articles, including separate ones for "readers comments" --- I do not know if this is common also in other parts of the world, in English-speaking newspapers - if so, please, send me e-mail adresses to which such commentaries can be sent, I do have some in English ready to be sent...]
