N Bord Pleanala has given the go-ahead to a mobile phone mast at the Burgery after overturning a decision by Waterford County Council.

The application by Vertical Property Holdings was refused by Waterford County Council in February.

The mast was refused on two main reasons, that it would impact on the visual amenity of the site and that other locations hadn't been properly investigated.
