The risk of inappropriate material being sent to children on mobile phones

I have been following the debate on masts on Churches with increasing disbelief. I am a Roman Catholic, my children Church of England and am very concerned at how just common sense is just left at the church door. Quite aside from the health issues, there is also the moral issues to consider. For years mast campaigners have been warning about the risk of inappropriate material being sent to children on mobile phones. Below is a link to a shocking case that was only revealed because children in Scotland alerted the authorities. What guarantees can a vicar give that obscene images, and those of videod murders, will not be transmitted through a sacred building or consecrated ground? A mast is making the sending of these images possible. The end result is children being shown obscene images - that it is on a video or camera phone, not a printed page, should not be treated as being not of the moral consideration. I must say the situation in the UK has become far worse than I could have imagined those years ago when campaigners started to voice concerns.

The link to last week's case is :

Man's 32,000 sex mobile messages

A man randomly sent around 32,000 sexually explicit mobile phone messages - many to children, a court hears. http://tinyurl.com/lnz4f
