Presidential Election Was Hacked By Florida Tech School

http://tinyurl.com/5rnnc

Election Fraud Connected To Katherine Harris' Attorney

Contact: Jeff Fisher 561-865-9548

Bay Point School is a juvenile correctional facility in the Miami area. Information has been given to the Washington Post that the Miami school is a suspected training ground in computer science and programming for juvenile delinquents who have trained in the art of manipulating electronic voting, without a true audit trail. It is believed that this activity is taking place not only there but in several schools like the aforementioned one nationwide. If true, then Bay Point School could be the Florida connection." It is possible as many as 6 states elections results have been altered by recruits from this school. http://www.rense.com

Jeff Fisher through a confidential informant alleges that the school has direct connections with Joseph Klock, and that Blass informed him that his loyalty to Klock is more important than the truth about how the 2000 election was manipulated, and how it is possible for a repeat to occur in the upcoming November general election. Mel Sembler, a powerful fundraiser for the Bush Campaign in Florida, is someone who has knowledge of the activities at Bay Point College. We are sure the talented people of the Washington Post will release additional details in the upcoming days. Mel Sembler is Ambassador to Italy and a principal in several drug treatment facilities that are under investigation for gross mismanagement.

Joseph Klock, an attorney who facilitated the release of Dr. Blass' son from an abusive treatment center. Mr. Klock was, coincidentally, the attorney for former congresswoman Katherine Harris who was the Secretary of State during the contested 2000 Florida recount which helped put George W. Bush in the White House.

Details about this on going investigation can be had by contacting Mr. Fisher.

We have reported previously on protests of Ambassador Melvin Sembler by the Uhurus and by the anti-Straight crowd. More recently BayWalk, Sembler's multi-million dollar shopping center complex in St. Petersburg, has been protested by StPeteforPeace, a group that feels the war in Iraq is illegal. What BayWalk came up with was an attempt to create a no protest zone to stop them. That plan backfired when the biggest protest ever took place at BayWalk recently, hampering businesses. StPeteforPeace was joined by the ACLU, the Green Party, the Uhurus, Coalition for Free Thought in Media, and many others, including two members of the city council. Even the St. Pete Times editorialized over Sembler's attempt to limit free-speech. The city council buckled under the pressure and dropped its hearing to create the illegal zones.

The Last Battle

by Sheila Samples

So that's it, then. Like John Kerry says, it's time to get over it. Move on. Get on with our lives and our jobs -- let the healing begin. Sounds good, John. But I don't intend to budge until all the votes are counted, because when I started this journey I committed for the long haul. Jumping ship to avoid putting the country through the "agony" of investigating and challenging another sordid election coup de 'etat would never occur to me -- especially if I had 17,000 lawyers fired up and ready to do battle. If, as you said, this was the single most important election in our lifetime -- our one last shot at salvaging democracy -- it looks like you could have, as a minimum, hung around until the results were in....

Did Kerry Concede Too Soon?

by Bob Fitrakis

Why did a voting machine in Republican Gahanna, Ohio report 4,258 votes for George W. Bush when only 638 people cast votes at the New Life Church polling site? Buried on page A6 of the Columbus Dispatch, the story also reported that the computerized e-voting machine recorded 0 votes in a race between Franklin County Commissioners Arlene Shoemaker and Paula Brooks. Kerry conceded on Nov. 3 before some troubling election irregularities have surfaced in Ohio. Investigative reporter Gregory Palast has pointed out that there are more than 92,000 “spoiled” ballots in Ohio, mostly in Democratic wards that could easily be hand counted, 155,000 uncounted provisional ballots, uncounted overseas military ballots and some uncounted absentee ballots. Despite the comments of Kerry’s running mate, Senator John Edwards, that every vote should be counted, Kerry’s concession makes that promise unlikely....

The Party is Over

by John Caruso

Yes, they really did blow it. Consider the mind-numbing reality here: the Democratic Party, as led by the DLC, has now lost the White House twice to George Bush. No, really: George Bush! Yes, really: two times. I swear I'm not making this up. Not only that, but they somehow managed to do even worse in 2004 than they did in 2000, despite the fact that Bush now had a record as president -- and a record of lies, disastrous policy decisions, and utter incompetence to boot. And they don't even have the consolation of wailing about the unfairness of the electoral college, since Kerry not only lost the electoral college but also failed to win the popular vote (not by a slim margin, either, but by millions of votes). And the Democrats lost seats in both the House and Senate as well. . . . I remember the first thing I heard from Kerry in regards to the presidential election. MoveOn had just solicited statements from the Democratic contenders as to why MoveOn members should support them. Kerry's main reason? That he would work to keep abortion legal. Faced with one of the worst US presidents of all time and a host of issues he might have hammered home or used to differentiate himself, Kerry chose the most safe, hackneyed, predictable Democratic rhetoric he could muster. That was when I first realized that I could not support John Kerry. And that was why, when I heard all these dubious claims that he was more electable than mildly (and I stress "mildly") progressive candidates like Howard Dean, I just shook my head in disbelief. Could the Democrats possibly be foolish enough to repeat their disastrous strategy of 2000?

Why John Kerry Lost

by Lee Sustar

How did John Kerry blow it? George W. Bush led the country into an unpopular war -- based on lies. He handed out tax breaks to the wealthy while millions of workers suffered through recession and a weak recovery. He used the occupation of Iraq to reward corporate cronies while 1,100 U.S. soldiers -- and 100,000 Iraqis, by the latest count -- died for oil profits. Kerry should have won this election running away. Instead, Bush racked up both an Electoral College win and a 3.6 million vote margin in the popular vote -- enough for the Republicans to claim a mandate, unlike the stolen election of 2000....

Mourning in America

by Gabriel Ash

I didn’t vote for Kerry; I am not sorry he lost the elections. I don’t know what will happen next and whether it would be better or worse than if Kerry had won. Nevertheless, Bush’s victory hurts. Not because of what Bush is. There is really not much difference between what Bush is and what Kerry is. They are both scions of inherited wealth, Yale graduates and Skull ’n Bones brothers. They have both been selected to leadership by the duopoly’s elections machine. Each of them represents a different version of what Wealth believes would advance the interests of Wealth. It hurts because of what Bush’s support represents. It is as if a large part of America is in the grip of an Alzheimer’s pandemic. The people all around are progressively losing their faculties, their judgment, their memory, sinking into dis-reality, but you have to pretend nothing is wrong with them....

Kerry's Humiliating Defeat

by Justin Felux

The Democrats have once again snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Losing to a candidate as terrible as George W. Bush for two elections in a row is a truly remarkable accomplishment. In 2000, the Democrats were blessed with relative peace and prosperity, as well as incumbency. The Republicans, on the other hand, were burdened by a candidate with nearly no experience and marginal intelligence. Rather than examine their own obvious shortcomings, the Democrats placed all the blame for their loss on Ralph Nader. This year, the Democrats seemed to have everything running in their favor yet again. The economy is in the toilet, Iraq is a horrific mess, and Bush's approval rating is below 50 percent, but they somehow managed to lose even worse than last time. With Nader a non-factor, the Democrats must place the blame with those who deserve it: themselves....

Broward machines count backward

by Eliot Kleinberg

Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

Friday, November 05, 2004

FORT LAUDERDALE — It had to happen. Things were just going too smoothly.

Early Thursday, as Broward County elections officials wrapped up after a long day of canvassing votes, something unusual caught their eye. Tallies should go up as more votes are counted. That's simple math. But in some races, the numbers had gone . . . down.

Officials found the software used in Broward can handle only 32,000 votes per precinct. After that, the system starts counting backward.

"Live Free or Die," ~General John Stark

KERRY was planning to concede from the beginning

(excerpt)

For all those that were afraid to climb out of the box. All those that went running like scared rabbits. What you managed to do was insure the elites conquest of a one Global Government. Orchestrated by none other than the NWO team. Kerry had planned to concede the
election from the get go....

Now if all those that felt they should vote for a third party, that got cold feet, wilted under the pressure of their own ignorance, that cast a vote for the TWO PARTY ONE PARTY candidates, which even a six year could have seen through their guise, and probably would have made sounder decissions than those of you that recinded, and cast their vote for the business as usual scammers. There will be no change for the better.

There was on the average of 2,950,000 votes that went to waste. That is only 5% of the votes. However that 5% would have been a swing factor in this election.

"Bush pledges to change Social Security". Yes ladies and gentlemen there will be serious changes where the Social Security SLUSH FUND is concerned. However it will not be for the betterment of the people. You literally signed the death warrants for a great many people, not only in this nation, but the world as a whole.

Another thing that the people of this nation will see is a NSCT, NVAT, VAT, NST, and the many other acronyms that they are trying disguise a national sales tax under. You think that you are taxed now...you haven't seen anything yet.

Mobilfunkantennen : "Keine rechtliche Handhabe dagegen"

Leserbrief: Mobilfunkantennen
"Keine rechtliche Handhabe dagegen"

Kerry won. Here's the facts. (tompaine.com) Bush won Ohio by 136,483
votes. Typically in the United States, about 3 percent of votes cast are
voided—known as "spoilage" in election jargon—because the ballots cast are
inconclusive. Drawing on what happened in Florida and studies of elections
past, Palast argues that if Ohio’s discarded ballots were counted, Kerry
would have won the state. Today, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports there
are a total of 247,672 votes not counted in Ohio, if you add the 92,672
discarded votes plus the 155,000 provisional ballots. So far there's no
indication that Palast's hypothesis will be tested because only the
provisional ballots are being counted. --by Greg Palast
"Most voters in Ohio thought they were voting for Kerry.
CNN's exit poll showed Kerry beating Bush among Ohio women
by 53 percent to 47 percent. Kerry also defeated Bush
among Ohio's male voters 51 percent to 49 percent.

Unless a third gender voted in Ohio, Kerry took the state.
So what's going on here?
Answer: the exit polls are accurate.
Pollsters ask, 'Who did you vote for?'
Unfortunately, they don't ask the crucial, question,
'Was your vote counted?'"

Carteret 'loses' 4,530 votes --Forget the old adage.
Every vote doesn’t count in Carteret County.
After candidates and voters awaited Tuesday’s election results
for more than five hours after polls closed, the County Board of Elections
announced a major computer problem that wiped out
4,530 of the 7,537 early votes cast at the elections office,
an error admitted by the system’s manufacturer.
While the company told the county the unit used for early voting
could store up to 10,500 votes, it could only handle 3,005.
But there were 7,537 early votes cast Oct. 14-30.

Computer May Have "Lost" 4,500 N.C. Votes --More than 4,500 votes
may be "lost" in one North Carolina county because officials believed
a computer that stored ballots electronically could hold more data
than it did. Scattered other problems may change results in local races
around the state. [Why are the problems limited to 'local' ones???]

Broward Vote-Counting Blunder Changes Amendment Result (FL)
The Broward County Elections Department has egg on its face today
after a computer glitch misreported a key amendment race,
according to Local 10 political reporter Michael Putney.
Broward County Mayor Ilene Lieberman says voting counting error
is an "embarrassing mistake." Amendment 4, which would allow
Miami-Dade and Broward counties to hold a future election
to decide if slot machines should be allowed at racetracks,
was thought to be tied.
But now that a computer glitch for machines counting absentee ballots
has been exposed, it turns out the amendment passed.

Slots measure for S. Fla. tracks wins approval -
-A proposal that opens the door to slot machines at race tracks
and jai alai frontons in South Florida won approval Thursday,
avoiding a possible recount after elections officials in Broward
County discovered thousands of absentee votes that were ignored
by a programming error.
Opponents had held a lead of about 1,000 votes until
the batch of votes from Broward "fell out of the sky,''
said Rep. Randy Johnson, a central Florida Republican
who chairs No Casinos.

Ohio Stolen (blog entry, gnn.tv) 2004-11-03 16:26:30
"Greg Palast and Randi Rhodes reported today that the state of Ohio
was stolen by the Republicans in election 2004.
Ohio was the critical state that tipped the balance,
giving the presidency to Bush. Turns out one County in Ohio,
equipped with Diebold electronic voting machines,
reported NEGATIVE 25,000 votes.
Wha?!? That’s what at least one election official in Ohio said.
The votes from that County are lost. Not counted. GONE!"

"No wrong projections [of winners] were made; the projections

Bush steals election again

I was an inspector at a polling place here in town and one of the voters gave me some interesting information. He is a computer programmer and builds databases for a living. He said that the software

Diebold is using on the SERVER is none other than MSAccess. Yep. There is an internet video of some U of Maine trained chimp that can hack into the system. You apparently don't even need to be a hacker, just buy the $70 password recovery kit and your in because the "encryption" is a very very low level. Every character is represented by it's own distorted version of each individual character, consistently without any kind of variation, i.e. an "S" is an "S" with a hatched match (some pieces are missing in the pixels), type "S" in ANY system with Access passwords and "S" is always "S" in the recovery. He also went on to say that an attorney (drawn from Symantec) who quit from the gov't electronic voting "project" was disgusted at the croneyism that was so restrictive and rampant that he couldn't even do his job effectively.

Translation: it was SETUP to be corrupted. It was no surprise that key swing states just so happened to be those who adopted the "new" system.

It would be interesting to see if any of this gossip I'm passing on holds any water. Know anyone who can sort it out?

Peace to you,
Tracy

"Those who cast the votes decide nothing, those who count the votes decide everything." --- Joseph Stalin

The election may have been stolen with electronic voting in Ohio an Florida. Some counties in Ohio and Florida use E-voting machines that do not have paper trails. All the software that runs the machines is secret.

The CEO of Diebold, the manufacturer of the Ohio machines, is a Bush campaign $100,000 "Pioneer" contributor, and had promised to 'deliver' Ohio to Bush.

Exits polls in Ohio and Florida showed Kerry with a strong lead Tuesday afternoon. Exit polls in Nevada (which uses electronic voting but requires paper trails) were consistent with the results apparently within 0.1% (I need to confirm this). In Ohio, the "results" gave Bush a 4% SURPRISE margin over exit polling. This kind of error is very unusual in exit polling. What is particularly alarming is that these surprise swings for Bush only occurred in Ohio and Florida!

People are asking why the exit polls were wrong. One good answer is that they weren't and that the electronic voting machines were fraudulent.

The exit poll numbers:
National: KERRY 50%, BUSH 49%
Florida: KERRY 51.7 BUSH 48.1
Michigan: KERRY 51.1 BUSH 47.7

All Americans reject the police state

There will be no end to assaults like this until Americans learn the constraints of the US Constitution and insist like screaming maniacs that the federal government obey that supreme law. So far, those in Washington DC have heard nothing but silence from us, no matter what they do.

Here's an example of what I consider a good start, though nowhere near forceful enough. Meet freshman Congressman Tim Ryan of Ohio: http://homepage.mac.com/njenson/movies/timryanlow.html

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CITIZENS FOR LEGITIMATE GOVERNMENT http://www.legitgov.org Launches Investigation Into Discrepancies of 2004 'Election'
Pittsburgh, PA: November 4, 2004
CONTACT: Michael Rectenwald, Ph.D. and Lori Price, clg_news@legitgov.org
CLG Founder and Chair, Michael D. Rectenwald, Ph.D., calls for a thorough investigation into the discrepancies of the 2004 election. At the conclusion of its investigation, CLG may call for specified action(s) against the system that has provided for the theft of the 2000 and 2004 elections. CLG may demand prosecution of those that have laid the groundwork for the 2004 election, if such an investigation points to the conclusion that a second coup d'etat took place on November 2, 2004. http://www.legitgov.org/pressrelease_stolen_election_2004_110404.html

The Choice is Clear: Give Up or Get Up --by Carol Schiffler "...[D]espite the fact that many of us are disappointed – perhaps, devastated – the choice before us is clear: give up or get up... This weekend, today, and every day, put your fears and grief behind you and renew your love affair with peace and social justice. Participate…not just with words, but with action and courage... Giving up is not an option." http://www.legitgov.org/essay_schiffler_choice_clear_110404.html

17 Reasons Not to Slit Your Wrists

by Michael Moore

Dear Friends,

Ok, it sucks. Really sucks. But before you go and cash it all in, let's, in the words of Monty Python, “always look on the bright side of life!” There IS some good news from Tuesday's election.

Here are 17 reasons not to slit your wrists:

1. It is against the law for George W. Bush to run for president again.

2. Bush's victory was the NARROWEST win for a sitting president since Woodrow Wilson in 1916.

3. The only age group in which the majority voted for Kerry was young adults (Kerry: 54%, Bush: 44%), proving once again that your parents are always wrong and you should never listen to them.

4. In spite of Bush's win, the majority of Americans still think the country is headed in the wrong direction (56%), think the war wasn't worth fighting (51%), and don’t approve of the job George W. Bush is doing (52%). (Note to foreigners: Don't try to figure this one out. It's an American thing, like Pop Tarts.)

5. The Republicans will not have a filibuster-proof 60-seat majority in the Senate. If the Democrats do their job, Bush won't be able to pack the Supreme Court with right-wing ideologues. Did I say "if the Democrats do their job?" Um, maybe better to scratch this one.

6. Michigan voted for Kerry! So did the entire Northeast, the birthplace of our democracy. So did 6 of the 8 Great Lakes States. And the whole West Coast! Plus Hawaii. Ok, that's a start. We've got most of the fresh water, all of Broadway, and Mt. St. Helens. We can dehydrate them or bury them in lava. And no more show tunes!

7. Once again we are reminded that the buckeye is a nut, and not just any old nut -- a poisonous nut. A great nation was felled by a poisonous nut. May Ohio State pay dearly this Saturday when it faces Michigan.

8. 88% of Bush's support came from white voters. In 50 years, America will no longer have a white majority. Hey, 50 years isn't such a long time! If you're ten years old and reading this, your golden years will be truly golden and you will be well cared for in your old age.

9. Gays, thanks to the ballot measures passed on Tuesday, cannot get married in 11 new states. Thank God. Just think of all those wedding gifts we won't have to buy now.

10. Five more African Americans were elected as members of Congress, including the return of Cynthia McKinney of Georgia. It's always good to have more blacks in there fighting for us and doing the job our candidates can't.

11. The CEO of Coors was defeated for Senate in Colorado. Drink up!

12. Admit it: We like the Bush twins and we don't want them to go away.

13. At the state legislative level, Democrats picked up a net of at least 3 chambers in Tuesday's elections. Of the 98 partisan-controlled state legislative chambers (house/assembly and senate), Democrats went into the 2004 elections in control of 44 chambers, Republicans controlled 53 chambers, and 1 chamber was tied. After Tuesday, Democrats now control 47 chambers, Republicans control 49 chambers, 1 chamber is tied and 1 chamber (Montana House) is still undecided.

14. Bush is now a lame duck president. He will have no greater moment than the one he's having this week. It's all downhill for him from here on out -- and, more significantly, he's just not going to want to do all the hard work that will be expected of him. It'll be like everyone's last month in 12th grade -- you've already made it, so it's party time! Perhaps he'll treat the next four years like a permanent Friday, spending even more time at the ranch or in Kennebunkport. And why shouldn't he? He's already proved his point, avenged his father and kicked our ass.

15. Should Bush decide to show up to work and take this country down a very dark road, it is also just as likely that either of the following two scenarios will happen: a) Now that he doesn't ever need to pander to the Christian conservatives again to get elected, someone may whisper in his ear that he should spend these last four years building "a legacy" so that history will render a kinder verdict on him and thus he will not push for too aggressive a right-wing agenda; or b) He will become so cocky and arrogant -- and thus, reckless -- that he will commit a blunder of such major proportions that even his own party will have to remove him from office.

16. There are nearly 300 million Americans -- 200 million of them of voting age. We only lost by three and a half million! That's not a landslide -- it means we're almost there. Imagine losing by 20 million. If you had 58 yards to go before you reached the goal line and then you barreled down 55 of those yards, would you stop on the three yard line, pick up the ball and go home crying -- especially when you get to start the next down on the three yard line? Of course not! Buck up! Have hope! More sports analogies are coming!!!

17. Finally and most importantly, over 55 million Americans voted for the candidate dubbed "The #1 Liberal in the Senate." That's more than the total number of voters who voted for either Reagan, Bush I, Clinton or Gore. Again, more people voted for Kerry than Reagan. If the media are looking for a trend it should be this -- that so many Americans were, for the first time since Kennedy, willing to vote for an out-and-out liberal. The country has always been filled with evangelicals -- that is not news. What IS news is that so many people have shifted toward a Massachusetts liberal. In fact, that's BIG news. Which means, don't expect the mainstream media, the ones who brought you the Iraq War, to ever report the real truth about November 2, 2004. In fact, it's better that they don't. We'll need the element of surprise in 2008.

Feeling better? I hope so. As my friend Mort wrote me yesterday, "My Romanian grandfather used to say to me, 'Remember, Morton, this is such a wonderful country -- it doesn't even need a president!'"

But it needs us. Rest up, I'll write you again tomorrow.

Yours,

Michael Moore

MindFreedom Shield Program

Re-Election of President Bush may mean more Psychiatric Coercion

MindFreedom News - 3 November 2004

NEWS RELEASE

Today's Re-Election of President Bush
May Mean More Psychiatric Coercion,
Advocates Warn

MindFreedom Announces New
MindFreedom Shield Program

"All for One and One for All!"

With today's re-election of President Bush, advocates for the human rights of people affected by the mental health system are preparing for the worst.

Today, MindFreedom International, an independent non-profit coalition of 100 grassroots groups, is launching the MindFreedom Shield Program to defend members from an expected increase in coerced and forced psychiatric procedures.

President Bush has endorsed a drug company plan to screen every American for mental health problems. A Bush appointee to a key federal committee, psychiatrist Sally Satel, has openly called for more "coercive," "intrusive, highly paternalistic" and "involuntary care" in mental health.

MindFreedom International has an established track record of taking
constructive, nonviolent action when a person is being subjected to coerced or forced psychiatric procedures. In order to better utilize its very limited resources, MindFreedom International announces the official beginning of the MindFreedom Shield Program.

MindFreedom Shield is a coordinated registration system and solidarity network composed by and for people who want to have as much protection as possible from being subjected to coerced or forced psychiatric "treatment."

"I hope this program lets people know that they not only have choice A, B, or C but that they are free to choose, 'NONE OF THE ABOVE!'" explains advocate Pat Risser, one of a group of psychiatric survivors who envisioned and initiated the concept that has become the MindFreedom Shield. "This is a way to 'just say no' to oppression."

MindFreedom Shield is designed to support a person's choice to be
free from coerced or forced psychiatric "treatment" by backing this
personal choice up with the MindFreedom Solidarity Network -- a network of people ready to take constructive, nonviolent action if someone's choice to be free from coerced or forced psychiatric "treatment" is not being respected or upheld.

As the current mental health system continues to globalize and rely more and more on coercion and outright force, many people's rights to have their previously expressed and even properly documented wishes carried out are being ignored. The recent recommendations of the President's New Freedom Commission to begin universal mental health screening, currently being implemented in several states, is only one example of the increasing use of such pressure.

In order to best implement this program, MindFreedom is collaborating closely with sponsor group The Law Project for Psychiatric Rights (PsychRights.org). "Through this mechanism people saddled with psychiatric labels can unite and offer effective resistance to psychiatric abuses," said attorney Jim Gottstein, director of PsychRights. "The MindFreedom Shield Program fits PsychRights' mission of defending people facing the horrors of
forced psychiatric drugging and other forced psychiatric procedures
administered against their will perfectly."

All for One and One for All

MindFreedom board member and psychologist Al Galves, PhD said, "The MindFreedom Shield is a quick, cost-effective defense against
people being railroaded into using such methods as medication and electroshock to alleviate normal responses to life issues that can more effectively, economically and safely be addressed through interpersonal emotional support and creative action."

"We can't guarantee the results," cautions MindFreedom director David Oaks, "But it has been our experience, including testing the MindFreedom Shield Program to help free a member from a Canadian psychiatric facility, that public awareness and people engaging in specific, nonviolent action can often reduce or even end coerced or forced psychiatric 'treatment.'"

MindFreedom Shield is not meant to take the place of legal documents expressing a person's medical and psychiatric care
preferences, such as an "Advance Directive." MindFreedom Shield is intended to provide the people power clout it sometimes takes to enforce a member's wishes, including members with Advance Directives. "Our recommendation is that a member have both a MindFreedom Shield and an Advance Directive in place." said Krista
Erickson, chair of the MindFreedom Shield committee.

Any current member of MindFreedom may register a MindFreedom Shield for free. Detailed information about the program, as well as a registration form, can be found online at:

http://www.mindfreedom.intenex.net/shield

Any MindFreedom member who does not have access to the Internet may write to the MindFreedom office to obtain information about the program.

MindFreedom Support Coalition International is a grassroots human rights non-profit uniting over 100 sponsor groups in 15 countries working for human rights and alternatives in mental health. The organization is the only group of its kind with Non Governmental Organization accreditation by the United Nations (ECOSOC Consultative Roster Status).

Sometimes called the "Amnesty International of mental health,"
MindFreedom is independent from any government, mental health provider, drug company or religion.

Levels of Microwaves in Brighton and Hove extreme cause for concern

Letter published in Wave magaxine

I got the following letter published in the latest issue of Wave mag (dist c 40,000 throughout South East) by proxy (a homeopath friend).

Best, Gary Kemp

The levels of microwaves in Brighton and Hove are giving me extreme cause for concern.

My research has revealed hundreds of ill health clusters of cancer, leukaemia, epilepsy and other conditions all over the UK which independent researchers such as Dr Gerald Hyland have investigated and directly attribute to local phone masts. With over sixty masts in Brighton, whose power has recently been increased for picture messaging and so forth (3G) the future looks very grim.

The recent BBC programme "Should I worry.." on microwave communications failed to mention the huge cancer cluster in the village of Essington which its presenter supposedly investigated for the effects of the phone masts there. It also incorrectly stated that mobile communications use near microwave frequencies. They use actual microwave frequencies.

I note a message to campaign group Mast Sanity from a Geoff Williams of Southport: " After seven years we are still trying to get the mast relocated without success. The mast has destroyed the lives of many of our people and we have lost another four in the last six months due to cancer related illnesses".

The amount of evidence is staggering. Well documented effects of these microwaves include cataracts, retina damage, eye cancer, rapid cell aging, cellular DNA repair interference, scalp nerve damage, joint pain, multiple sclerosis, digestive problems, asthma, thyroid conditions, embryo damage, early dementia and others.

Industry watchdog Powerwatch states on its website:"It is the regular cellphone users, and people next to them in cars, trains, buses etc, who are likely to show the adverse health effects".

As a Homeopath, I find it unbelievable that phone masts, and recently a TETRA, should be on the roof of the Royal Sussex County Hospital. Nurses in the maternity ward at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport, Cheshire, reported long ago on the unusually high incidences of miscarriages, exhaustion and migraines since a phone mast was erected on the wards' roof.

What does the body count have to be?

--------

I went to Essex General hospital in colchester, Essex last week and couldn't believe the enormous mast in the grounds with masses of equipment. There is also a mast on top of Ipswich --Hospital, Suffolk.

Democracy Fails : Corporations Win

by Peter Phillips

Democracy in the United States is only a shadow in a corporate media cave of deceit, lies and incomplete information. We stand ignorant of what the powerful are doing in our name and how the corporate media ignores key issues affecting us all.

A young professional couple from San Diego stated the weekend before the election, "we don't think voting will make any difference so why bother?" Over 80 million eligible voters joined them by refusing to participate in the most recent election. While having been a voter for 35 years, I can't fault them for their logic. November 2 gave us a choice between war and more war, corporate globalization and more corporate globalization, the continuation of gifting billions of dollars to Israel, the Patriot Act and an expanded Patriot Act, a police state and an seriously growing police state, media monopoly and even bigger media monopolies, and wealth inequality or an even greater wealth divide. With the only alternative to these issues being minor candidates without a snowball's chance, for many voting seemed meaningless.

The issues where a choice was offered, abortion, Social Security, and medical care, were so under-covered by the corporate media that most voters still don't understand the differences. Voting ended up being a faith-based decision embedded on visceral reactions to individuals instead of key societal issues.

The real winners November 2 are the military industrial complex, who will continue to feed at the 500 billion-dollar military trough and the corporate media, whose coffers were filled with billions of dollars for campaign ads.

And can we be sure we actually had a fair election among those who did vote? Election Systems & Software (ES&S), Diebold, and Sequoia are the companies primarily involved in implementing the new voting stations throughout the country. All three have strong ties to the Bush Administration. The largest investors in ES&S, Sequoia, and Diebold are government defense contractors Northrup-Grumman, Lockheed-Martin, Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and Accenture. Diebold hired Scientific Applications International Corporation (SAIC) of San Diego to develop the software security in their voting machines. A majority of officials on SAIC's board are former members of either the Pentagon or the CIA including:
- Army Gen. Wayne Downing, formerly on the National Security Council
- Bobby Ray Inman; former CIA Director
- Retired Adm. William Owens, former vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
- Robert Gates, another former director of the CIA.

So we have a CIA/military private firm that programmed the security in the voting machines for companies owned by some of the largest military contracts in the country. No wonder the Co-founder of the Citizens Alliance for Secure Elections, Susan Truitt said November 3: "Seven counties in Ohio have electronic voting machines and none of them have paper trails. That alone raises issues of accuracy and integrity as to how we can verify the count. A recount without a paper trail is meaningless; you just get a regurgitation of the data. Last year, Blackwell tried to get the entire state to buy new machines without a paper trail. The exit polls, virtually the only check we have against tampering with a vote without a paper trail, had shown Kerry with a lead. ... A poll worker told me this morning that there were no tapes of the results posted on some machines; on other machines the posted count was zero, which obviously shouldn't be the case."

Our level of non-participation really means democracy has failed in the US. Democracy is the people making decisions about the important issues in their lives. Freedom is the ability to act on these decisions. Without an electoral choice democracy is non-existent and freedom only means the right to choose your own brand of toothpaste. Without an active independent media informing on the powerful we lack both freedom and democracy.

Pity the Fools

Yes, a national strike! A strike on news media whores! A strike on all stores that don't offer American made products! A strike on all corporations that outsource! Boycotts and strikes! Well, here is another link listing the voting problems:

And here's Anthony Wade's latest and I find, his greatest blog so far:

We're listening to Air America Radio tonight as we can't stomach the major news, even the cable news outlets. Please spare us the smiles! Dennis and I both cried off and on today..... and Kerry's caving in so soon was one of the contributing factors as well. Even though Edwards said "every vote will be counted," the early cave-in sort of pulled the rug out from under all of us who have worked so hard. Couldn't watch or listen to Bush and Cheney today... how hollow... how fake.l.. the fear-mongering will continue.

Just can't trust the outcome. "Welcome to hell ! " -- Mike Malloy from Air America Radio!

You know, the steamroller has begun it's smashing and dashing of our Constitution and our hopes and dreams. Must find a way to protect my sons.... get them out of the country. Maybe the neocons will get impeached and put behind bars in a couple of years due to voter fraud, Halliburton ties and/or 9/11.

Heartbroken and afraid for America.... L.

Machine politics?
http://planetmove.blogspot.com/

The US presidential election of 2004 is over. The people (or at least
some of them) have voted. From the reports in the media, it is now clear that George Walker Bush has apparently won the election. I say ˜apparently" because polls from our top demographic experts and exit polls recorded yesterday reported precisely the opposite outcome. John Zogby, considered to be the ˜gold standard" of presidential polling, predicted that John Kerry and John Edwards would win with over 300 electoral votes. Following Zogby's prediction to the letter, the preponderance of the exit polling stated that John Kerry would carry all of the major battleground states: Florida, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Oregon.

These exit polls were interpreted as further confirmation of Zogby's final predictions.

At this point (noon on the third of November), nobody has raised the spectre of criminality, a criminal conspiracy to inflate votes for Bush and deflate tallies for Kerry via hacking the computerized voting machines. However, it is, indeed, suspicious to note that the scale of Bush's vote far exceeded the best of the pre-election polling. This raises other questions about the superficial inflation of his vote totals via covert criminal operations.

Two days ago, Greg Palast published his report that over one million votes for Kerry-Edwards had been sabotaged through criminal skulduggery. According to Palast, registered voters were being denied the right to vote, and absentee ballots had gone missing in the key battleground states of Florida and Ohio.

In Ohio, the situation is even more dubious. It now seems that the assurances made by Walter O' Dell to some of Bushs top supporters are both haunting and troubling. Suspicions are now running rampant that Mr. O'Dell, who is the president of Diebold which manufactures paperless touchscreen voting machines, may be involved in a conspiracy to defraud the people of Ohio and America.

Last year, Mr. O' Dell promised some top-ranking Bush supporters that he would work to deliver the electoral votes in Ohio to Bush. Coming as it did from the president of a paperless touchscreen voting machine company with proprietary software, Mr. O' Dell' s ill-considered pledge may now seem more like a promise than a prediction. With Mr. O'Dells machines in use in so many states, why did he mention only Ohio and not other states. Was there some hidden meaning in his ill-conceived letter? Perhaps, we shall never know.

Leading experts have published academic papers about the problems inherent in these machines. Many who have studied them in detail regard them to be a serious threat to democracy. A professional study at Johns Hopkins deduced that the Diebold machines were not to be trusted simply because tampering with them is little more than child's play.

There are simply too many coincidences at play heree. The dubious situation of the pre-election polls which had been so consistently accurate in previous years now going haywire all of a sudden, and the exit polls taken on election day "which have almost always accurately predicted the outcomes of presidential elections“ taken into context with Mr. O'Dell's reckless pre-election pledge and the strange situations in both Florida and Ohio where these machines were used prolifically causes serious suspicions to arise over the integrity of the presidential vote in 2004.

It is worth remembering that in 2002, Senator Max Cleland, one of John Kerry's staunchest supporters, was unseated under highly suspicious circumstances involving missing memory cards from paperless, voting machines.

This election is riddled with a plethora of suspicious circumstances. There should be no rush to judgment about the integrity of this vote, even though it might please the president with the radio transmitter fitted to his back.

The largest Freedom of Information Action in History

http://www.blackboxvoting.org/

Voting without auditing. (Are we insane?)

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON Nov 3 2004 -- Did the voting machines trump exit polls? There’s a way to find out.

Black Box Voting (.ORG) is conducting the largest Freedom of Information action in history. At 8:30 p.m. Election Night, Black Box Voting blanketed the U.S. with the first in a series of public records requests, to obtain internal computer logs and other documents from 3,000 individual counties and townships. Networks called the election before anyone bothered to perform even the most rudimentary audit.

America: We have permission to say No to unaudited voting. It is our right.

Among the first requests sent to counties (with all kinds of voting systems -- optical scan, touch-screen, and punch card) is a formal records request for internal audit logs, polling place results slips, modem transmission logs, and computer trouble slips.

An earlier FOIA is more sensitive, and has not been disclosed here. We will notify you as soon as we can go public with it.

Such a request filed in King County, Washington on Sept. 15, following the primary election six weeks ago, uncovered an internal audit log containing a three-hour deletion on election night; “trouble slips” revealing suspicious modem activity; and profound problems with security, including accidental disclosure of critically sensitive remote access information to poll workers, office personnel, and even, in a shocking blunder, to Black Box Voting activists.

Black Box Voting is a nonpartisan, nonprofit consumer protection group for elections. You may view the first volley of public records requests here: Freedom of Information requests here
http://www.blackboxvoting.org/#foia

Responses from public officials will be posted in the forum, http://www.blackboxvoting.org/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi is organized by state and county, so that any news organization or citizens group has access to the information. Black Box Voting will assist in analysis, by providing expertise in evaluating the records.

Watch for the records online; Black Box Voting will be posting the results as they come in. And by the way, these are not free. The more donations we get, the more FOIAs we are empowered to do. Time's a'wasting.

We look forward to seeing you participate in this process. Join us in evaluating the previously undisclosed inside information about how our voting system works.
